WARNING! READ IMMEDIATELY! How to not get hacked!

Hacking is a rather terrible thing. This guide will help to prevent you from being hacked.

First of all, as you all know. Never EVER give out your password.

If you click on a link and you are signed out from Gaia, it IS PROBABLY NOT Gaia. Make sure to check the link.

Don't have a public profile. Keep it to friends only. PMs should be fine, just don't do anything they tell you if you don't know them. Don't listen to your friends either if they are acting weird.

Don't have a public friend's list either.


Do NOT put your e-mails in this toolbar. They can hack through your e-mails.
I suggest using an e-mail that you use ONLY for Gaia.

Make sure your e-mail password is just as hard as your Gaia password.

Don't go around bragging how rich you are. That's just asking for it.

If you're not wearing all of your expensive items, put them on a mule that no one knows about. It may save you if you are hacked.

Password suggestions:
Passwords should consist of numbers, capitol letters, little letters, and symbols. Those make the hardest passwords. Also, make sure it has nothing to do with you. You should probably write your password down too.

Thanks for the info, my friend just got hacked and I sort of want to track down the hacker that did it. Since I don't have the technology to do that, I guess I'll just have to tell her about this how to not get hacked thing and tell her all the tips you gave me. This will help her and I a lot... thank you so much kind gentlemen!
