Tor has been a little troubled by our lag of late. True, the guild is not yet at full swing, but there has been a troubling lack of activity as of the past couple weeks.

There are a few reasons why this might be happening, so I would like to address them all.

Many do no like to participate in a guild that is not fully active. Yes, I can testify to that; I've been a member of many unactive guilds in my day. But what you don't realize is that there are enough members to make this guild fantastic and fun, if everyone just got the courage to jump in somewhere.

Another reason might relate to our slowly declining numbers of new members. I, personally, have not seen a request in I-don't-know-how-long. Our active members need to take an initiative of bumping our GGN post every so often, in order to better recruit. I know it is asking a lot of responsibility of our members, but I fear the guild will die if I don't.

Mariposa's absence. Yes, she has been gone a while, but she is a mother and has a lot of things going on in her life. We do not need our captain to oversee everything that happens with the guild. Be reasonable: she is not solely responsible for recruiting new members and getting participation from current members.

My final conclusion:

An RP guild is only as fun as how active it is, and how well the members participate. Iffens we let the guild die, the fun and imagination will also slowly go down the tube. I don't know if I have the authority to post something like this, but I deplore you anyway. If you're not active, try to get active. If you're active, try to help in gaining members to the best of your ability.

We must band together with our shared love of the magical world of Harry Potter and make this guild the best it can be!

Don't fret too hard; laws no. All I ask is an active role, and maybe a few referrals here and there. :]
