 ((OOC Her cert says male but Jayn is female.))
The only reason that she was out here by herself was because Cadi had wanted her to meet other Kitsu and for her to try to get over her fears of others she didn't know them and in there size if they were somewhat the same size or bigger. As she walk, Jayn check behind every few steps where another couldn't approch from the back unseen. Even her walking was stiff and tence. Trying to over come her fears and still walked.
Walking through the forest she came to a waterfall with trees and shurbs all around. It was so beautiful. She walked up to the waters edge and as she walked on the grassless ground little vines sprouted around all her feet. She was so locked in the beauty of the waterfall and its effects that she was unaware if other approched.

 The question to be asked was... if the skittish female had thought to look up. For at that moment cream and bronzed wings were bringing a soft chocolate furred kitsu -dark chocolate tails fluttering behind him- across the sky. His red & gold scarf fluttered in the breeze & auburn strands of hair snapped in front of baby blue eyes.
But those same eyes that were usually smiling and full of love and laughter were not at that precise moment. They avidly scanned the land below, searching for signs that only he knew of what. For Hemi Lupin had not told his family -large & close as it was- about these ventures of his. They would worry, and Liliana for certain would not approve. He knew his eldest & closest sister would rather her 'baby' brother to stay safe -but then she would not suspect this of him. Not suspect that the sweet, forgiving & always loving baby brother might possibly be hunting for the one that had nearly killed her and her kits so many months ago now. Hunting... but only in a sense. For the kind hearted kitsu who saw cuddles and affection as a cure all to any ailment of the heart did not yet know what he would do should he actually find the shapeshifting homunculi who had it out for his brother-in-law & anyone related to him.
Perhaps that was why Hemi's attempts were so few and far between. Of course there was also that they would notice his absence.
The winged kitsu sighed. Perhaps he should try on the ground for a while. Not as safe... but he could not as easily catch the one's scent so high up. He was also thirsty, and there was a waterfall. With a lifetime of practice -and some very good instruction- Hemi altered his wings to glide down beside the cool water. Baby blue eyes widened to see another there, and dark chocolate tails automatically started to wag even before something more like his natural good-natured smile started to light his eyes & touch his maw. Those eyes followed the spotted one's as he touched down and folded his wings against his back. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
Huge warm grin, tails wagging in a friendly manner.

It really never crossed her mind to look up as all she knew that her enemies were bound to the ground and easly avoided if spotted early.
Looking at her reflection has she thought about the male Cadi was someday going to bring by to meet. As Cadi said that they were both very simmular in nature. She of corse said yes but was still a little scared to meet. But it was in her nature after the attacks she indured and servied. "Yes it is, tho I have been told that its more beautiful at sunset and sunrise," she said not really thinking too much. But when it had been said she froze as the voice wasn't familar. Carefully she looked over her shoulder and spotted the winged kitsu. Jayn's mind was running all over the place on trying to figure out what to do, even tho the face was kind but the wings made him look slightly larger. "Meep!," was all that she could say at that point, looking all over for a place to hide. Spotting a rock and hide behind it with little vines trailing behind her.

The healer-wizard grinned at her words... then was left opened mouthed on his reply as the kitsu made a sound before running to hide.
Blink. Now why had she done that? She could not possibly be as shy as Atae used to be. Could she?
Padding with easy and gentle strides after her Hemi peeked around the rock with a friendly grin. "Sorry. Didn't mean to startle you. Wanna come back out while I get a drink? Stuff you said about sunrise and sunset made me think of my housemates Mir & Yun. We could talk or just share company..." The male's baby blue eyes were warm, friendly, & inviting. With more than a touch of apology. "Promise not to hurt you." Dark chocolate tails wagged happily.

Removeing one paw from her eye to look at the other kitsu, still scared but wanting some friends. Her green eyes meeting with his baby blue and with what he said she knew that he ment no harm, but it was hard to forget the past as her tails gave a slight wag.
Gathering her courage, removed her other paw from her face and sat up. "Its ok, its your size and your wings that started me thats all. I just have never seen a winged kitsu." Has her ears moved into a more relaxed postion, but took confort and taken in by the others eyes. "We could both talk and share company. As I haven't ventured too far from home to meet others," As she looked down and knew it was a somewhat sad existance but it was a safe one as a paw poked the dirt causeing little vines to sprout. Then a thought crossed her mind and she was being a little rude about not telling the other her name and if Cadi knew that, she would just laught. "I'm Jayn," She offered looking up slightly with a slight tail wag as well.

Warmly the larger male laughed, the sound rolling from him like clear water. "Yeah... guess I am on the big side. Easy to forget, what with 'Den being so huge and Lil' being a tiny bit of a thing." Baby blues danced merrily thinking about his siblings, in this case his brother Aiden the snow-werewolf and his closest sister Liliana. He was nodding. "And wings... well yeah guess they are rare. Even with Mom having them only 3 of us got them in full." Hemi padded closer, dark chocolate tails still wagging. His cream & bronze wings were folded against the milk chocolate of his fur casually. If it was possible a bunny would look more intimidating, what with the easy smile he gave with no hint of guile in it. He stopped at a non-imposing distance -surprisingly for the ever physically affectionate Hemi. He had read her fear & apprehension earlier though and did not want to spook her. "Jayn? That's a pretty name. Mine's Hemi. Hemi Lupin. It's a pleasure to meet you."
With a grin that set an entirely new sparkle to his eyes the male kitsu trotted back to the water where he lapped easily from the cool liquid & gave a pleased sigh at the refreshment it gave before he flopped casually onto his right side, totally unafraid. If she looked, the female would be able to see where the fur of his left foreleg bunched from a small holster wrapped around it in nearly the same shade as the fur. Something that looked no more than a carved stick -also of similar hue- was held there in the holster. He paid it little mind himself, as if it were merely a part of him.
"Soooo..." He drawled thoughtfully. "What brings you this way?" There was something to his friendly tone that said that though he was interested in the answer this was merely conversation and under no circumstances was Jayn required to actually tell him anything if she did not want to.

Jayn listened sorta wondering how many family members he had and had also thought that it was a very lovely thing. "You care alot about your family don't you. I think that its a beautiful thing and something that is treasured," She sorta just rambled thinking about her own little adopted family. "Hemi, its such a strong and handsome name and its a pleasure to meet you as well," she replied with a slight blush. As her mind really didn't know what to think. Part of her wanted to move close but the other wanted to stay were it was.
Watching Hemi go and get a drink, she played with one of the vines and made it dance just a little as she heard him flop on the ground that scared her slightly that the vine stoped moveing. But in the process she had moved closer as the other part of her was excepted that Hemi wouldn't hurt her and sat nearer. As a small smile was creeping across her face and her body much more relaxed.
Takeing note that he wasn't pressing her for information, but she thought it was nice to talk to another that wasn't part of the household. "Just wandering trying to meet others, but you have been the first I have seen so far." As she thought on how much she would tell, but would try not to talk about what happened when she was young that makes her the way she is now. "They want me to meet others, to have friends of my own and not waste away in my fears. Thats why I'm out here. Tho a part of me just wants to stay home and hide forever," She commented but the last part just sorta just came out and a little afrade of what Hemi would think as her tails stopped moveing.

Laying on his side, head lifted to look at her... Hemi was in a fairly odd looking position. Not that he seemed to mind as he grinned in his friendly manner. "Sounds like my sister, Nahanni. She's shy as all get out -even around us. But it's good to get out."
Those smiling baby blue eyes beamed & then clouded the slightest bit. His mind going back over what Jayn had said before. "Yeah. Nothing's more important to me than family." The darker side of that caring was why he was out today for a change. Hemi did not particularly like that side of him. Dark chocolate ears flattened slightly, thinking about his quarry. He knew better than to try to take the homonculi on. Especially alone. He had heard what happened to Edward's brother, Alphonse, and was still both worried and hurt he had not been called to heal him. It worried him that maybe his brother-in-law's brother did not feel comfortable with him or worse... was still upset from the way they met. It did not seem like the younger Elric's way though & so puzzled Hemi terribly.
So he was just scouting for the homonculi. At best... maybe he could hit Envy with a magical tracker. Just so they could know where he was and Liliana could leave home with relative safety again. Maybe then Edward would let Aurum out a little more too, though other than wanting to meet other kitsu his sweet niece was usually content sticking around their cottage & the Place.
Forcing such thoughts from his mind Hemi was able to smile again. "Wasting away in fears is never good. Just think... if you'd stayed home we never would have met." Another grin, dark chocolate tails thumping on the ground. "Not so bad, huh?"

Tails swishing across the ground thinking. "That is true, but mine is more on fear of being attacked again," Thinking about the nightmare and then betrayed by who she thought were friends when she was younger.
She knew that he was thinking about something but she wasn't going to pry. Bur he is a beautiful kistu that she had seen and wondered. "I only have three adopted Kitsus that are my family as of right now, but I love them so much."
Now she was a little thirsty and got up and got a drink with tails slowly wagging. After she was done she sat a little more closer to Hemi. "I know, but its hard to overcome sometimes." As had a sad look to her eyes, but looked happer from is last commet. "That is so true and no it is not."

He stiffened. "You were attacked?" It was more anger than being incredulous that fueled the show of emotions. A sort of protectiveness, hinting at that which the male had for his family. It was tinged with worry too, that perhaps the attacker had been Envy.
With his family's history with Nightmares being a good one it would never dawn on Hemi that could be so. Not on his own.
Hemi had to pull himself in check, eyes frowning and head slightly downcast. His tails thumped more on the ground behind him then wagged in the meantime. Gradually they relaxed falling more into a regular wagging motion once more. He smiled again, laying his head down and looking at Jayn sideways. Seeing that she was smiling Hemi was able to bring back his full grin. It was like the sun came out, chasing all the darkness away. "See? Just have to learn who to meet."

Ears fell, but then thought what one of the house mates had said. Better to tell someone your fear and you will feel beter about it and might become close to that person. "It happened when I was much younger in my wandering years. When a black and blue Nightmare kitsu attacked. But I surived that until I thought others were my friends also attacked me at my lowest point in life to please themselfs. That is why I'm scared of others bigger than myself." She replied as a big weight had been lifted off her chest and it felt better that she bottled her emotions with fear.
Jayn scratched her head to think better and to relax herself. Tails slowly moveing back and forth as she was becomeing more of herself. Also laying next to Hemi as she was totaly relax with him and a weard feeling as well for her, but nice. "That is true," As she had a nice warm smile on her face. "So what brings you this way and is there anything you would like to do?," she asked.

Hemi listened attentively, dark ears flicking. "A Nightmare? But..." The winged male shook his head and sighed, shifting automatically to give the type of comforting nuzzle for which he was known best with his friends & family. The 'baby's' brotherly comfort with no strings attached. "And others." He sighed softly, tails swaying more than wagging. "Guess it just goes to show that a kitsu's appearance is no indication of what's inside."
A sheepish chuckle and a slight & silly grin accompanied a weakly playful wag of dark chocolate tails. Then he suddenly seemed to fade, his head dropping back down and his baby blue eyes casting sadly to gaze unseeing over the shifting surface of the water. "Hunting, I guess."
Huffing with pain & frustration Hemi did not seem to notice as his exhalation of breath rippled the water at the bank of the lake. He did not seem to notice much at all, his dark chocolate ears pressed low against his head. "He would have killed my sister & her unborn kits if he hadn't been stopped." Chocolate jaw was clenched and those baby blue eyes of his were welling with tears. "Nearly did. If we couldn't have healed them..."
He was tense, and very close to raising a paw and punching the ground or the water in frustration. "I can't take him on. Not stupid enough to think I stand a chance. Ed & Al can't take him, and either of them are a better fighter than me. I can just hope... to find where he is so Lil can feel safe enough to go out again or something." If his head were not already upon the ground it would have hung in anguish. "It's the only thing I can think of to do."

Jayn just nodded about the nightmare. Not wanteding to make old wounds sting too much and about the ones that she had thought cared for her, but were just useing her until they didn't need her. When Hemi shifted to give a nuzzle she froze for a second, but accepted it and gave one of her own back. "That is so very true,"
When she had asked that question she saw that he had a sad expression on his face and moved to sit right next to him to give him confort as he had been giveing her. Hearing what Hemi was telling her as her own ears drooped slightly. "At least they are a alive and well." As she tryed to cheer him up.
Tails swished as she tryed to thing of something. "Its good to know your own limits in things. But what you can't do alone, you can do it with help of those you love." Seeing that he needed confort, she layed right next to him were they were touching. Something she rarely did even with her little family. "But in doing the little things can and will help with things is the long run and they will thank and love you for your efforts in protecting them the best you could, Hemi." Giving him a nuzzle. "You are to kind hearted for hard core fighting. But from what I can guess that your family loves you just the way you are. I have found confort in it and I just met you. So just be yourself and don't worry to much." As she smiled.

It was second nature to Hemi to return the nuzzle, hardly having a first thought over it much less a second. "Yeah, I know. Just don't want Lil or her kits getting hurt again. Or their next kits -way she & Ed are it's only time before they have more. Don't want anyone getting hurt..."
Softly he chuckled, the warmth returning to his voice and his eyes. Once more the solid tails started to move with more happy emotion. "heh. Usually I'm the consoler." Baby blue eyes crinkled smiling over that.
Then serious, but not the sad, anguished seriousness of moments before. "Thanks Jayn. I needed that. All of it."

"But this time he won't catch you unaware. You and your family will be ready if he returns to defend them." As she cuddled next to Hemi. "I know that you will never let it happen. But sometimes it will and you just have to learn from the experence."
All that she could do was smile and tails waging. "Well I have never consoled anyone," she blushed but she had a little practic with bickering kits.
"Its no problem, I just had to return the favor. You helped me start overcoming my fear, it will still be there for sometime. So I thank you as well. But maybe sometime I could meet your family as they sound so nice, like you." A little nervous over what she had said last but still had a smile. "So is there anything else you like to do with me?" Jayn said as an invotation to play, something she had never done since before she was attacked.
