Writ had never been a library person. You ever been in a library and there was that one loud, annoying kid whose parents couldn't control him and had people who despised him but never had the heart to actually tell him off? That was Writ when he was a kid. He hadn't been in a library since he was eleven (In regular time, not god-age-bending time- either way, it's been a while.)

Not much had changed since the last time he's been here. Everything seemed to be smaller. Which was to be expected- seeing that he grew three feet. The dusty shelves that once towered over him seemed to be less intimidating with his newfound height. Which was good, the bulky volume of Greek Mythology he wanted was sitting on a particularly high shelf.

He took the book and plopped the huge book on the table with a large thump, turning a few heads.

"Go on." Hermes urged. Jubs really didn't know anything about how the various gods. And that was a liability in this war. Knowing the strengths of other gods could help predict what powers their godlings might have. Unfortunately, getting Jubs there was proving difficult. It was only after a week of persuasion that he was even going at all.

"I said I'm going already, dammit." It looked like going was the only way Hermes would quit bothering him. He hated moving around the city when people were out. Not only did he get a ton of strange looks, but it might draw out blacksuits. After moving along roofs for awhile, he ended up next to the library, and dropped down into an adjacent alleyway. He didn't have any way of hiding his features the way Writ did, so he had to settle for a cloak. It worked well enough, and the librarian merely glanced, as though he was a homeless person coming in for warmth.

Being directed to the history section by Hermes, he stopped when saw a familiar face at a table. "Writ? What're you doing here?"

Writ looked up. He tilted his head at Jubs curiously. Who was this kid? He vaguely remembered seeing him at Persy's shop but- He took a whiff of the kid. His nose recoiled from the gross but familiar street smell. Ohhh. Wait- He got it- Jubs.

"I guess Coyote talked to Hermes, huh?" Writ smiled, "Almost didn't recgonize you." Jubs didn't seem to change too much. He was still short and feathery, but his eyes were different- kind of like his, but not quite. More yellow-y.

"I got bored." Writ shrugged, waving a hand to open volume in front of him The book was open to the story of Presephone.

He leaned back on his chair and motioned at the ceiling, "They throw us gods, monsters, and government conspiricies at us, I guess they ran out of ideas."

"If they did, then I want to have word with your god about giving mine ideas." He said has he noisily pulled over a chair; no one had ever bothered to teach him library etiquite. Not that he didn't like the new powers. He just would have more appreciative if he was a bit taller.

Jubs glanced at the book Writ had, and all the little squiggles on it. No one had really bothered to teach him to read, either. Sure, signs outside of buildings were okay, but anything longer than two words was gibberish to him. This was one of the reasons he had avoided coming here. Hermes would have to read to books to him, if he couldn't find someone else to.

"You don't say." He said, trying to sound interested.

"Yeah, kinda weird that Persy's off selling information when we can find out a whole bunch about her in the library." Writ slid the book and turned it around to Jubs. A large painting of Persephone watching the pit of the underworld was on one side, a whole wall of text on the other.

"Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, married to Hades, don't know why anyone would marry someone as mad as her though... Oh! and she knows Hermes pretty well too." Writ smirked. "If she didn't want anyone to know about her personal life, she should've got that three headed dog from the underworld to destroy it."
