That is what the old mad woman had said...but they failed to listen to her words. They could never take the life of their own child, no matter the darkness that surrounded her. But because of that darkness she was marked and all mortal man who tried for her slowly became engulfed in the evil that seemed to call out. She did not listen for though she was marked the shadows did not take her.
