well, i play trumpet and i have a loose tooth and i'm afriad the it will get stuck i my trumpet

Don't worry, the tooth is probably too big to fit through the mouthpiece hole. But really, you could just yank it out and be sure. If it's loose enough you're afraid it's gonna fly out, you can yank it.

Okay, here's my advice. I'm not a trumpeter, you don't have to take it to heart, but here it goes. Don't be- It would take a very, very high wind velocity to get a tooth stuck in an instrument, (trust me on that one... sweatdrop ) if you're even playing trumpet when it falls out. That you're young enough to have teeth falling out tells me that you haven't reached that kind of lung development yet. No offense, but an older person can usually breathe longer and have faster air. Just a thought...

It isn't small enough to go through the mouthpeice.. plus You'd notice it before it got far enough.

Pull it. I was about to play a duet on a hymn with a retired band director who went to my church. I had a loose tooth about an hour before the service started, and I was afraid it would affect my playing. So I just went to the bathroom and pulled it.
