Hello again!

I was just watching "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, and it got me thinking. Are there any people in this guild that dance? Dance IS part of theatre, after all (more so musicals than anything, but you know). Theatre and Dance are definately big in performance art.

Anyone out there dance/choreograph/crew/design for dance performances/competitions/musical theatre/etc? Just sparkin' some convo in here! 3nodding

That's kind of cool! I've always wanted to learn tap, but it's so hard to find good AND cheap classes. The best I can do is a time step (sort of).

9 years?!? That's a long time! I also freaking love So You Think You Can Dance, so with your 9 years, is there any chance I will/have see(n) you on that show!?!? Crazy.

I mostly a contemporary dancer, but I love musical theatre jazz (I'm trying to take some jazz classes, but having trouble finding good teachers in the midwest).

What are you auditioning for?

I'm a decent dancer, I have 6 years of ballet and jazz and three of lyrical. I also spent two years on pointe. But I quit taking classes so seriously so I could pursue more acting. I don't regret it, but I do miss it, especially once SYTYCD started. If I'm ever in the right city at the right time, I'm definitely auditioning.
