That's what it comes down to (besides the fact that Rock Band has a lot of shitty music).

They have some good and bad sides, but that's what it is for almost every games I guess. I like the fact you can improvise your own solos at some points in Rock Band, but Rock Band's guit is pure s**t. GH3 has better songs than RB as well.
I played both and tried all instruments in Rock Band. If you want some challenge, play guit and sing at the same time, it's hilarious to watch the guy messing up everything the first time xd
