 Forte had wandered away from Luna for a while, she made her way down to the river that her teepee was located near. The sounds of the water made her ears twitch, she loved that sound, there was just something about it that made her calm down. She was still new to the area, but didn't like to venture off, and had yet to make any friends. All the other horses she saw were larger then her, even though for her young age she was courageous... She placed her hooves into the cool water and she stood there looking into the liquid. The sun warmed her back as she stood.

 Liberty yawned lazily then shook himself all over. Mornings, bleh on those mornings. He chuckled under his breath amused as he moved away from his herd. Nodding his head to his 'foster' momma Nene, he grinned crookedly. Lord but he had a weird family.
Wandering, without a destination in mind, he found his feet taking him towards the river. Hmmm well there was a berry patch around there and suddenly berries sounded really good. Poking his head around the corner he stopped short and blinked. Well that wasn't a berry but it was very pretty...clearing his throat he called out a greeting to the blue and black mare. "Uhh..Hello!"

Forte jumped a little, turning her head to look over toward the voice. "Well hello~" she replied. She walked in the water toward him, moving slowly so she didn't stumble on the rocks. She smiled at him a little; "I'm Forte." She looked directly at him, she noted the pink and black on his face, she found it pleasing to look it.

Liberty grinned unabashed that he had startled her, " Heh, I'm Liberty nice to meet ya Forte. I haven't seen you around before, are you new here?" The little heart on the end of his nose wrinkled cutely as he laughed at himself "Of course you are new here. What was I think? Ah anyway. I was just about to have some breakfast would you like to join me? The berries are really coming in good this year!"

Tilting her head some she nodded. "That would be very nice, thank you." She moved forward and she climbed out of the water. At this point she was able to see more og Liberty's body and she flicked her tail. He was lovely to look at, even though he was a male, and had pink, he carried it well. Forte shook herself off, well what needed to be dried and she pressed forward. "Where exactly is the bush with the berries?"

His smile widened as she moved towards him. My but she was beauitful and seemed nice enough. He laughed again making a odd little bowing movement as he gestured with his head, " This way lady. Yon berry bushes await you!"
He flicked his tail as he led her towards the berry patches around the corner. There were blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries filling the glade. " The feast awaits you!" His smiles was impish but kind.

Forte looked around, all this was new to her, even thought it was just around the bush. The area was very lovely and she was enjoying the short walk very much. When she looked at the berries she was rather amazed at the amount of them. She would have to bring Luna by, to pick a few. "Wow, they looks so lovely." She lifted her head, her ears twitching. She moved to stand next to him and she lent forward breathing in the air of the berries.

Amusement colored his voice as he looked down at her. He was just a touch taller than the dark mare. " You know you can dig in, you don't have to just stand there and smell of them."
He gently nudged her shoulder with his as he moved past her to dig into the strawberry patch his tail swishing behind him contently. Breakfast of sweet berries and a beauitful mare to share it with...this was shaping up to a great day!
Lifting his head he smiled at her, unaware the berry juice had stained his pink heart nose to red "so tell me about yourself Lady Forte?"

She had glanced up at him and she nodded. "Well I like to appreciate what I'm eating... Luna taught me that." Strange as that was. She pulled on some of the smaller berries happily. She looked over at him and laughed some, making her way there. She licked of his nose, taking away the red.
"Well, I live with Luna, my human, she found me about a month or so back, and bright me to her home, over by the river... I really like the river." She smiled at him and ate some more berries. "How about you? You don't seem new to the area."

He stopped moving, stopped breathing, just...stopped when she licked his nose. His cheeks slowly turned bright red. She...she..she licked him.... Oh God.
Nevermind, Nene licked him all the time, or that his mother groomed him when he was little....Forte had licked him. Wait..she was speaking but dangit if he could focus on what she was saying. She had all but kissed him!!

Forte's ears twitched and she glanced over at him. "Are you alright Liberty?" she asked him in a soft voice. She lifted her head up and blinked at him a few times. and then picked him a strawberry and offered it. Forte was very friendly, and for her young age, confidant. "I hope i didn't say anything wrong..."

Liberty blinked then shook his head, trying to clear it before giving her a sheepish grin "No I'm fine..uh just..thinking." He nodded not aware just how lamed that sounded but that was his story and he was sticking to it.
His smile brightenedas she offered him another strawberry. He moved very slowly as he took the berry from her, his skin lightly brushing against hers. "Thank you Forte."

Forte smiled, and she herself blushed a little feeling him brush against her. She stomped her hoof into the ground lightly before she turned back and ate a strawberry herself. "Tell me about yourself, Liberty." She glanced over, feeling rather full then.

He blinked at her and smiled then his ears perking forward towards her. "Well I live with my dad and our herd including my Aunt Piya, Uncle Momi and Adour. Addy is kinda mean to everyone but me." He grinned at her charmingly before digging back into the berries.
"Then there is my Uncle Spike and Momma Nene. Nene is a very very grumpy wolf but she has a big heart and Uncle Spike...well...he is kinda unique." His smile was kinda goofy then. "And you? Tell me about yourself Forte."

Forte had rested on the ground, and she watched him. She watched him happily, she was glad she had met Liberty. For the month she had been around she had no one. "Me? Well... Its just me and the human Luna." She blinked up at him.
