AIM LOG: Remove & iPao v2 Alana was lazing in her tree, her kill laying between her paws. She was eating it slowly, after all why eat it fast when there was plenty to eat and it tasted so good? She smiled softly at herself as she ate. Pride showing just a little. After all it had been a while since she had got a big enough kill to haul it into a tree not that anyone else would know this.
She took a few mouthfuls before laying her head on the rest of the kill using it as a sort of pillow. A strange pillow without doubt but it meant she could guard it well and that was a good thing.If he hadn't been living in the jungle long enough, Chui would definitely have considered himself lost. Luckily for him, though, he'd practically memorized his home's pathways, and with a quick glance at which familiar tree was where, he made his way back to his usual path and back to the small watering hole where he'd expect he'd run into Alana. The smell of blood soon caught his attention, and as soon as he'd arrived at the small clearing, he looked up into branches of the surrounding trees. And sure enough, there she sat, a kill between her paws and a proud smile on her maw. "That's pretty impressive, Alana," he greeted with a smile.
He padded his way to the tree nearby and climbed up to one of its branches, approximately at the same height as Alana so conversing was easy. "It might fall, though, if you sleep on it like that."Alana smiled as she saw the sweet male.
"Hey!" She chuckled a little and licked her maw a little, she knew it was stained red and could hardly be an attractive sight now could it?
"Oh i am sure it will be fine! It's balanced well." She smiled nudging the carcass a little to prove a point. Her claws however were firmly embedded into the sides of the carcass just in case it decide to try and move at all.
"So how are you Chui?" She smiled as she rested again her head on the carcass, her blue eyes looking at his sandy body. It was nice to see the male once again.He chuckled as she proved her point, and let the subject go. "I'm alright," he replied. "A little tired, almost got lost. Again." And he almost frowned, wondering why he'd been so out of it lately. That incident had been the 4th time in 3 moons, which was definitely not a good thing for him. Before, when he was at his best, he would never get lost. But now... "I'm getting lost a lot now..." he admitted, ears lowering as he kept his frown. "It's happening too frequently...has that ever happened to you?" he asked, looking up at the femme. If he had any friends in the jungle, Alana was definitely his best.She nodded, "All the time. I think the wind and things effect it, makes the jungle smell different and even look different. I don't move much when the weather is like that." She smiled, offering some nice calm advice. The weather had been slightly strange recently.
"Other then getting lost have things been okay?" She just wanted to check, Chui meant a lot to her.

He smiled gratefully, nodding slightly. "Hopefully you're right. These days I'm not too sure I'm all up here," and he tapped the side of his head with a paw. "You know what I mean?" And he sighed, lowering his head to his paws. "I've managed to find food and water well enough, and safe places to sleep as well. So...aside from getting lost, everything seems fine." He lifted his head to look at Alana once more. "How about for you?"
Alana chuckled, standing up a little she managed to step over her carcass and jump over onto his branch, it creaked a little and she had to miss stepping on him. It worked but only just and she wasn't sure his branch would hold both their weight but it would do for now.
She nuzzled his head softly and then licked at it.
"Your head feels and tastes and smells fine, so I am sure you are perfectly fine all up there." She chuckled and then realised she wasn't really sure where to go. She was kind of half standing over him and she was sure if she moved the branch would break. She really didn't think this through.
"I am fine, just seem to be a little stuck now! Oh how silly of me!"
He laughed a bit, wriggling out from underneath the leopardess, a smile still on his maw. She definitely had a way of making his day better, the great leopardess that she was. Once he wasn't underneath her anymore, he quickly stood and jumped toward the trunk of the tree, sticking his claws into it and sliding down to the ground. It was what he'd done as a juve, and he had to admit...it really didn't work once one got older. He licked his paws once he was all the way down, sighing at his lack of judgement.
"Well," he said as he looked up at Alana. "At least you're free to move now."
She was amazed at the way he decided to get down the tree, was different to say the least and she couldn't help but laugh.
"Ah freedom to move!"
She chuckled and jumped down from the tree in a much more elegant way then that which he had done. After all she was a lady now wasn't she! She smiled at him as she landed on the floor.
"My my you have interesting ways to get down trees now don't you!"
He chuckled and shrugged. "I used to do that when I was younger." A smirk. "Though, it doesn't seem to have the same affect when you're older." And he laughed. "Back up the tree then? Your catch might fall down if you're not keeping an eye on it." And with that, he made his way back up to his branch, lying down and getting comfy before looking down at Alana and waiting for her to get back to her branch. "C'mon now," he called down to her. "It looks a little out of balance."

She smiled, she couldn't help it! After all he was so funny and some what cheeky as well. He was charming, that was the word she was looking for.
She was soon jumping back up into her tree and checking her meal which was perfectly balanced. Honestly! What was he like.
"It looks perfectly fine to me!" She smirked a little at him and nudged it again to prove it. The carcass moved a little but not too much. She was happy to sit with it again though, she could be protective of it.
He laughed, lowering his head to his paws once more. "That's my mistake then," he replied once she'd proven that it was indeed very balanced. "It just looks strange, a large piece of meat balancing on a branch. Especially since it's an animal that belongs on the ground." Chui's sentence ended with a chuckle as he watched her settle down with the food, the smirk lingering on his maw. "So are you saving that for anything in particular?"
Alana shook her head.
"Nope just saving it for the sake of torment." She smirked. After all most animals in the jungle would be able to smell her carcass but also a lot of them wouldn't be able to get up to it. Oh she could be mean sometimes. She would much rather torment Chui though and that was good enough for her.
The male chuckled once more, then shook his head. "If your torment was particularly directed at me," he started, "I'm afraid I've already had my lunch." Chui then got even more comfortable, eyes beginning to droop. "Though...if I stay awake for too much longer I may get hungry again. In which case, it'd be very cruel of you to have that carcass and not share with me." He meant it jokingly of course, and he hoped she'd recognize it. And then he closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. "So...for now, Alana, I think I'll have me a nice....long nap." And with that, Chui dozed off into his usual afternoon nap, the previous thoughts of his predicament leaving him now, all thanks to her.
Alana laughed. She pulled a bone away with some trouble from the carcass and attempted to throw it at him, whether it hit or not she didn't see as she quickly curled herself up and closed her eyes. If he was going to be napping again then so was she. What a lovely cats life it was!
