Okay guys, as many of you probably know,
since Gerard and Lynz were married, Lynz
has basically been known as
"Mrs. Gerard Way",
and so many people have totally LOST all respect
for her as an individual person.
She was never really huge in publicity,
until she was married, and seriously... people
only respect her as Gerard's wife nowadays,
when she's still working her a** off for her fans!
How it that right?!
It's not.
It's ******** up.
I'm sure she's VERY fed up with it, as well.
In a recent Kerrang! interview she fumed about it.
I don't know, I just think we should try to make
things back to the way they were; Lynz being
respected for the hard-working bassist she is..
not as "Mrs. Gerard Way."
She was still a person before Gerard came along,
and she should still be treated as her own person.
Gerard would want her to be happy, and respected,
as well, so it's not like we would be betraying him in
ANYWAY by standing up for Lynz individually.
And especially girls, we should be supporting Lynz!
She does what she does to show us we girls can rock just
as hard as men, and stands up for our gender, so it's
time WE stand up for HER.

You...are simply amazing.
God, It must be very annoying to be called after her husbands name, I would be annoyed.
I'm not a huge fan of the band(and I didn't know who they were until they got married -Sadface-),
but I watched an interview with her in it and she was really awesome, and a great role model.
It's weird..., she and Gerard are very much alike.
I hate when people don't support them(or any MCR marriage)
Those people are just complete buttfaces...

I'm not a huge fan of the band(and I didn't know who they were until they got married -Sadface-),

But yes, I totally agree with you.
I mean, I did know of MSI before the marriage,
and really thought Lyn-z was an awesome girl,
and then when she married Gerard, I was ecstatic!
But so many fake fans are all "Oh, I hate Lyn-z because
she married Gerard!", or "Lyn-z from MSI? Isn't she
Gerard Way's wife?", and it's really just quite irksome.
You and I are on the same level of respecting Lyn-z
as a person, and I believe many other people are,
so we all just need to re-gain that respect for her
as an individual person.

I completely agree! I love msi, and I love Lyn-Z, not because she's married to Gerard, but as a individual person I think she's awesome.

i agree completely agree. i read that article as well and i agreed with her perspective on the topic as well. Lyn-z is an individual and should be respected as an individual just like everybody else. personally i'm a fan of MSI. i love how different they sound from everyone else and how lyrically blunt the are. hopefully people will stop referring to her as Mrs. Gerard Way and take notice of the talents she possesses herself =]

Lyn-z totally deserves much respect with her being as an artist not just a wife to a great man. :]

i give her props for marrying Gerard. he seems like a good catch.
But I liked her before she married Gerard. Lynz is and awesome rocker and should be treated as thus!

You're right. That is really stupid that people only respect her for her husband. She rocks that bass harder than any other woman I've seen. She is an amazing musician, and she should get the individual respect she deserves.
