Skin color: Dark obsidian
Make-up/Body paint: Light touches of silver kohl on her eyelids and a dark shade of rouge on her lips.
Body build: Athletically lean with seemingly delicate and graceful hands and feet
Hair color/length/style: Short cropped snow-white hair feathered around her face with the lower back trimmed and the upper mid-section pulled into a wildly disarrayed flip-top ponytail with two long thin braids trailing behind her ears to her shoulder blades. Various crystalline trinkets are hung around the ponytail and on the ends of the braids.
Unusual Features: Long natural fingernails, extended fangs when not hiding her vampiric nature.
Tattoos/Markings/Scars: She has two facial scars, one short nick running along her right cheekbone and one longer scar from a blade that runs from the bridge of her nose right by her left eye down the side of her face stopping at the cheekbone. She has a tattoo of an eye surrounded by a manifesting aura around her navel (when visible). In the rare case that it's visible, Ver'liryn has a short, inch long scar at the base of her skull where her sire has a magic coin (a rather wicked little device, really) embedded just under her skin.
Clothing: Ver'liryn generally wears a dark, form fitting top of varying color underneath a dark maroon, thigh-length vest with a high neck belted loosely across her chest. The vest bears gold embroidery in the center in the shape of a ring of energy emanating outwards. She wears darkly hued breeches and boots to match. Ver'liryn may wear bracers (see below) but -never- wears gloves that would cover her hands.
Armor: Ver'liryn wears no armor save a pair of bracers on her wrists and a matching arm band around her upper arm. The bracers are traced with web-like patterns.
Weapons: Ver'liryn carries a bladed whip coiled and hung from her belt at the small of her back.
Jewelry: Ver'liryn may wear rings on her fingers (usually gold bands either plain or studded with opal, obsidian, blood diamonds, fire gems, or rubies). She also enjoys wearing studs and rings in her ears and sometimes wears necklaces and/or chokers.
Missing (or extra) appendages: When Ver'liryn feeds her fingernails extend into long psionic claws which pass through non-living material. It is through these claws that she feeds on the aether or lifeforce of her victims.
Character Personality: Though she was the sole child born of alive of triplets having murdered her siblings in the womb, Ver'liryn was often removed from the deepest daily struggles of dominance and power inherit in any drow society due to the fact that she was the youngest of her 8 siblings and therefore last in line for the throne of Ilharess. However even as a hunter, the profession she chose for herself, she had to vie for power. She learned that a sharp mind and quick wit were as good a weapon as a blade or claw. Forays to the surface gave her a glimpse of their life, but she found it soft and weak. The most ruthless denizens of the surface were as a drow babe to her having been born a murderer herself. However despite the fact that Ver'liryn is as darkly sadistic a drow as they come, she has a strange if sometimes morbid sense of humour and portrays herself with a somewhat rebellious aire. She is not above deception in any form and especially enjoys preying on the weak emotions of surfacers such as pity, remorse, and love...the better to lure her prey into her clutches.

Other: Description: An athletically lean woman, Ver'liryn stands a respectable 5'4" with a light and lean muscled build. Her wild snow-white hair is cropped short in the front and feathered around her face with the lower back trimmed and the upper mid-section pulled into a wildly disarrayed flip-top ponytail with two long thin braids trailing behind her ears to her shoulder blades. Various crystalline trinkets are hung around the ponytail and on the ends of the braids in hues ranging from a golden orange to a cool violet-blue. Her face has a sylvan cast with high, delicate cheekbones and tapered ears paired with dark midnight skin that mark her as a drow when her face is revealed. Her eyes are a golden-red hue above dark rouge lips with lines of silver kohl lightly decorating the eyelids. For dress she prefers a long-sleeved shirt of a dull sable over which she wears a belted vest of a deep maroon with a high-necked collar turned up to brush her cheek. A simple pair or darkly hued breeches is tucked into like-hued boots. Related Characters Re'shak Delanier - Sire: ForthcomingReference Pictures: Shiriel - Slave: Bought at a seedy auction house on the surface during one of Ver'liryn's sojourns, Shiriel is an assassin of high calibur who has lived her entire life as a slave on the market going from one owner to the next. Now she has ended up in the clutches of Ver'liryn and has found herself psionically bound to her new mistress in such an insidious way as to force compliance without compelling it of her. Ver'liryn left Shiriel with her own free will to make her choices, but the knowledge that if she chose to disobey she would pay for it dearly. Shiriel has served her well when it counts since.
