This is going to sound very Arabic.
Hell, the script is based off of Arabic.

B*
C- chair
D*
Dh- that
F*
G- go
H- very breathy, just like Arabic.
Like saying 'h' but you breathe out while doing it.
J*
K*
L*
M*
N*
P*
R*
S*
X- she
T*
Th- through
W*
V*
Z*
Zh- measure

A- father
E- bet
I- me
O- low
U- who
Y- bit

*Just like English

If two vowels come together, you make them into a diphthong.
(I becomes like the English 'y')

The writing system looks a lot like Arabic.

It is written right to left like Arabic.

It does not have vowels like Arabic.
(Vowel marks are used sometimes.)

Each letter has an initial, medial, final, and isolated form like Arabic.

It is called 'Miniot'.

The pronouns come in one case.

I::
Anah (fem.) / Anih (masc.)

You::
Jal (fem.) / Jil (masc.)

He::
Zhih

She::
Tral

We::
Kesi (listener included)
Kasa (listener not included)

You (formal and plural)::
Laial (fem.)
Laiel (masc. or mixed)

They::
Zhihem (masc. or mixed)
Tral'hem (fem.)

All other case pronouns are formed by prepositions.

The verbs.... are weird.

All verbs have 3 consonants, and there are two 'e's between them.
This is the infinitive.

When you conjugate for person and tense, you switch the 'e' for another vowel.

The first vowel is always person.
The secend is tense.

Anah/ Anih :: 'a'
Jal/ Jil :: 'o'
Zhih :: 'oi'
Tral :: 'i'
Kesi/ Kasa :: 'au'
Laial/ Laiel :: 'u'
Zhihem/ Tral'hem :: 'ai'

Tenses-
Past- 'a'
Present- 'i'
Future- 'o'
Past Perfect- 'u'
Future Perfect- 'ai'

To form the progressive of any, add 'e' to the very end of the verb.

To be is actually regular!

To be- Ceket

Cakat - I was
Cakit - I am
Cakot - I will be
Cakut - I had been
Cakait - I will have been

Cakate - I was being
Cakite - I am being
Cakote - I will be being

To negate a verb, add 'dhe' to the beginning of the verb, separated by a hyphen.

Some verbs-
Ceket (to be)
Levet (to read)
Thethem (to want)
Geledh (to love)

Word order is strict, so that the verb does not get confused with a noun (it happens).

VO.
Ha.
Since your subject is included in the verb, you do not needed a subject.

If your subject happens to be a noun, the proper subject vowel is still in your verb, but the word order changes.

SVO.

Like that.

Questions are OV(S)?

The Mehmetians have a phrase that is just like the French 'Est-ce que'.
It is "M'dal beh-ti ....."
This does not have real translation, and is added to the very beginning of questions.

You don't need it, but it is used sometimes, mainly when speaking formally.

Yes, all nouns have gender.
They are easy though.

The gender is told by it;s shape.
If it resembles.... a phallus, it is masculine.

Anything else, feminine.

The articles-

The- Li (masc.) / Lia (fem.)
A/ An- Na (masc.) / Mah (fem.)

It does not change for plural, just keep it the same gender.
To make an noun plural, and an 'i' to the end.
If it already ands in an 'i' change it to 'a'.

Doesn't that mean that gender can be up for interpretation?

Well, no.
Just like in any natural language that has gender, the gender is always known. You just learn it that way.
(If I were to have a history behind this conlang, then) The ancient speakers might have had discussions and argued about a gender, but in the modern time, each noun has a gender, and it cannot be changed.

And some things just are assigned a gender.

All living organisms (not body parts) are feminine.
All body parts are masculine.

All colours are masculine.

All Gerunds (verbs used as nouns) are feminine.

Like that.

I wanted to make the genders easy, without having to make the gender based off of the last letter like I've done before.
