Riddick eyed the sky from the tree's branches over head, the passing clouds made the day seem like it was a dream with their white fluffy shapes. Flicking an ear with the thoughts of something fun to do the over sized pup got lower to the ground for some sort of push. With a forceful leap, Riddick jumped straight into the air and clasped his claws into a low hanging branch, hanging from it's thick bark and swaying side to side. Releasing a sigh of defeat he slowly started to tug himself up on the branch, wrapping his arm around it and attempting to swing his hind foot up to get some balance. He looked like a cat that had slipped and was clinging on for dear life, but in reality he was only a few feet off the ground. Riddick's tail was swinging about, trying to push some force into his efforts but it did nothing but make him look even more clumsy.
Finally getting a grip with his hind foot, Riddick struggled a little more before pulling his body up onto the branch. He shook his head and flopped down on the limb with a sigh of exhaustion. "That's the last time I try getting on a tree that way." He laughed to himself before resting his chin on the branch to watch the happenings of the forest below, waiting for something entertaining to happen or even just amusing would be great.

It had been a good morning, one successful hunt for fish and one happy full belly. Purring happily Myst cleaned her reddish front paws from her early lunch, laying lazily on the bright green grass a few feet away for a river bend.
Once cleaned she decided to explore her new home as of yesterday, it was still all new to her and she wanted to learn what she could to survive in the forest. Ears twitching this way and that she picked up some far off sound, it sounded like branches snapping or bending. Curious she began to creep closer to the noise, making sure to blend in with the plant life as her mother taught her.

Riddick flicked the tip of his tail side to side as he started to watch a squirrel gather nuts and scamper up a tree to place it in it's hole. He was still quite bored, there was nothing around to watch that is more entertaining then the grey critter running back and forth. Sitting up on his branch he let out a lazy yawn and licked his lips, looking further then the ground below him for something to watch. Blinking his eyes a couple times from their watering after the yawn, Riddick caught sight of a blue ulaya in the distance, walking through the forest. Tilting his head to the side with amusement and confusion as he watched her creep through the forest, her bright colors clashing with the background.

Myst froze in mid step between the greenish yellow bush when she noticed what she had heard was another ulaya, a male ulaya. 'Shoot! How could I forget my fur stands out against the my surroundings.' She thought closing her eyes for a second before titling her head studying the cream colored male. Creeping closer until she was 2 feet away she tilted her head more to look up at him. "Hello," She replied softly, cautiously. " I've never seen you here before, actually I haven't seen much of anyone really. It's nice to meet you. " She paused waiting for the other ulaya to reply.

Smiling with the other's words, Riddick tilted his head and pointed his ears up. "Hello, I'm Riddick. I'm pretty much a wanderer so I'm never in the same place for too long, that might be why you've never seen me before." He laughed at himself, being formal wasn't something he found easy to do because he was just a pup in a large body. His tail dangled from the branch, swaying with the wind and the movement of his ear tufts. The breeze felt great from the tree but it was starting to get chilly and he wondered if getting down with the other Ulaya would be better then yelling down to her.
Eyeing the tree trunk, he stood up and pawed to the start of the limb before digging his claws into the thick bark. Wrapping his arms around the wide trunk he latched on with his hind claws and tried to shimmy down the tree without scraping himself on the bark. Lifting his foot to place it lower he suddenly lost grip and slid down the tree landing with a thumb on the ground. Wincing from the fall, Riddick slowly stood up and turned towards the other Ulaya and started to rub his rump with his paw. "Ow, I'll feel that one in the morning." Turning his ears back and looking at the blue female he let out a foolish laugh and put his paw back down on the ground.

Myst giggled at Riddick's response, "That must be interesting! I bet you've seen a many interesting things!" Myst smiled and continued to look upward watching his ears and tail twitch. Myst watched as there was some movement in the tree, Riddick was headed down the tree. Gasping she watched as Riddick fell down the tree, eye widening she ran closer to the leopard-looking ulaya. "Are you ok?" She asked with concern, ears pricked forward and head lowered towards Riddick's face. " Do you need anything?" She gently placed her paw on his head to check to a bump.

Looking up at her he smiled at her kindness and rose from the ground, his rump still a little soar. "Yeah, I'll get over it. Gotta be a tough cookie to make it alone in this world." He tried to make himself seem all brave and impressive but he was sure his childish fumble would ruin that image before he obtained it. "I'll never get used to going down trees." He finally said as he turned his head to see deep claw marks scratched into the trunk of the tree. Laughing at his own stupidity his tail swayed side to side and he looked back over to his new company. "So what brings you around this forest? I never see lovely Ulayas like your around in the wilderness much." He decided to go for the flattery factor, maybe she'd get over his clumsyness and stick around for a while to give him company.

Myst nodded her head and smiled listening to Riddick's words, "True, true, only the tough survive. Don't worry keep practicing with your climbing and you getting better." Watching his tail sway side to side Myst replied with a blush to her face, " Well, I just recently found this place so I guess you can say I'm exploring. Seeing what I can find and such. Beautiful you say? Thankyou, aren't you a charmer." Smiling she looked into Riddick's eyes. " How about you? What brings you here? Would you be interested in exploring with me?" Tilting her head, she waited for his reply.
