Frenkhul soared through the air above the ruins of Neo York, a warm air thermal lifting him up as if hands were pushing him upwards. He gazed around the ruins, searching for any other kimera. With a flick of his mighty wings, he spiraled down, pulling up into an impressive pose.

As the sun rose into the pale sky and gave it its lively color of blue, a white figure could be seen amongst the light, puffy clouds. Her black-dappled feathered chest was panting heavily as she beat her rapidly, as if the wind was failing to carrie her along fast enough. She turned her elegant head to look over her shoulder once, her golden narrowing slighlty as they tried to focus on the distant lands. But there was no one there, just the empty, barren ruins. She sighed and clicked her beak once in satisfaction. It wasn't until then that the she-griffin landed on the roof of one of the old Neo York buildings with ginger paws. She flicked her long, feather tipped tail as she folded her wings together at her side. This mutant griffin, Masha, could still feel her heart pounding from the quick flight. This old building-top seemed to be the best place for her to rest, at least for the time being.
However, what Masha had not realized was that she was not alone. Her mind was far to occupided to pay attention to the other griffin who was flying through these very ruins upon this empty morning.
(( -___- I must have been more boggy-headed than I thought last night, because it seems like I actually have no idea what I was typing... I'm fixing this. ))
Even though the sun had been casting its rays upon the brittled, broken city, the white she-griffin with stunning black markings had managed to remain fast asleep. However, it shouldn't have been a surprise that the she-griffin Mahsa would be tired after such a long, trivial night. The roof of the city ruins was warm and everything was silent. Execpt, that is, the sound of beating wings that stirred through the air. Mahsa's ear flicked as the sound whispered into her ears. Even in sleep, she recognized the sound.
Slowly, she peeled her eye lids open, revealing her golden orb-like eyes. She raised her elegant head and yawned, her long fangs glistening like a pearl in the light. She stretched out her two elegant wings and stood upon her two, ginger paws, revealing her abnormal griffin body. She sighed tiredly and looked up into the pale blue sky to see where the source of that sound was coming from. Mahsa squinted as she tried to see past the suns rays, and soon realized that the flapping of wings was coming from another griffin. She cocked her head curiously, wondering if the other would see her and want her company, or if he would rather turn away...

Frenkhul scanned the terrain below him, and, catching the gleam of sunlight on feathers, spiraled down closer. He was curious as to who this gleam was, and he flew up nearby. "Hm?" Frenkhul murmured, cathing sight of Mahsa. He landed on a nearby ledge and, swirling his tail around him, nodded to Mahsa. "Wonderful day to fly, isn't it?"

smiled, pleased to see that the other was friendly. It had been a while since she had interacted with another kimera... Or at least, had a friendly interaction that is. Her ears perked at his words, her tail swishing like a broom across the dusty old rooftop. "Yes, it is a lovely day indeed. A gift to any wander." Her voice was calm and smooth, but ringing with friendlyness. "Do you live around this territorry, or are you a wanderer?"

"I used to. Now I get dragged around with a horde of other kimera and a crazy chick." Frenkhul said, laughing. "But still, it's not a bad life." He shrugged. "I'm Frenkhul. And what might your name be, my vision of loveliness?" the romantic griffin asked, bowing and looking up during the sweep, his eyes twinkling.

Masha clicked her beak as the other laughed, adding to his first comment by saying sarcastically, "Sounds like fun!" She giggled, her black and white feathers ruffling as she did so.
The other griffin's comment threw her off a little bit. She paused, blinking at him in surprise with her lively pair of golden orbs. Her face twisted in a puzzled expression as one ear flicked forward while the other folded the other way in an uneven manner. Surely he was just being poliet. She glanced over her shoulder before glancing back at him and saying, "Who? Oh, you mean me? I'm Mahsa." She smiled sweetly as the griffin bowed, wondering if she should do the same. She bowed her head slightly, not really sure how to react to the very poliet griffin.

Frenkhul straightened hismelf, grinning. "So, shall we take a flight, Mahsa? As you said, today is a gift to any wanderer, but to fly alone on such a day would be ludicrous, especially with such a goddess before me." he said, slightly opening his wings.

Mahsa straightened herself up as well, holding her long neck high as she looked towards the sky. "Okay, that sounds like fun. Where would you like to-" Then she paused, for it wasn't until then that the word "goddess" panged within her ears. She looked back at Frenkhul with an expression of blank surprise. She played with the word within her her mind until suddenly, the realization struck her. Without thinking, she opened her bill and laughed out loud, so loud that the heavens above would be able to hear her. It was a wild laughter, as untamed as the winds. There was no way she could have stopped herself. Finally, she was able to restrain this laughter someone, asking through occasional giggles, "D-Do you really think so highly of me? I mean, come now, just look at me! I'm a mutant! There's no need to be so poliet, I don't deserve it."

Frenkhul cast Masha an impish smile. "As am I." he said with a laugh. "I was thinking maybe fly along the safe lake? And then go to visit Halor, maybe...he's undergoing spy training at Sarlost's fortress, but if you want, we could go somewhere new." He said, looking up to the sky. "And yes, I do think that highly of you. You are as beautiful to me as the wild gusts above, as the sun-kissed clouds at that precarious moment of change we call twilight...." Frenkhul said, something in his eyes showing forth. He seemed almost sad for a moment, but, with a shake of his head, jumped back into his usual merriment. "And you do deserve it. Every lady deserves respect, especially one as lovely as you."

(( o-o -dies from Frenkhul love- *----* That was beautiful... XD ))
For a moment, all Mahsa could do was stare back at him in surprise. She could feel her cheeks growing warmer and she cursed her pure white feathers that may reveal any color. Her heart was pounding so loud, that she couldn't even hear the silent moment in which Frenkhul's expression had changed. Biting her tounge, she shook her head out of this stricken moment of wonder, trying to find some words to repond with. It wasn't until then that she realized that she had been holding her breath.
"Oh, where ever you would like to go," she said in a now willing and cheerful tone, "I would like to know more about you, so if you took me to place you like, that'll be good with me."

((XD He's very poetic when he wants to be.)) "Why don't we just wander? So many places, so little time, as the saying goes." Frenkhul said, tilting his head with a grin. He noticed a slight pinknish flush on Masha's face, and since he was a gentleman, he didn't speak up about it. Frenkhul paused for a second, a flash of relevation sparking forth in his complex mind. "There is one place, however."

(( XD That's awesome. -loves that sort of thing in writing/role plays- Just as a hint, if you ever use that poetic-ness for even a short moment within a role play prompt that I judge, I will fall in love with it. *-* ))
As Frenkhul continued to speek, Mahsa continued to regain more control over her wild emotions once again. She sighed silently to herself and calming herself once again. As Mahsa listened, she found that she was able to hear the sense of relevation within Frenkhul, causing her ears to perk forward in curiosity. "Oh, what place is that?" Mahsa asked excitedly, her tail swishing much more rapidly. "Can you take me there? I would love to see it." Without even realizing, she began to unfold her packaged wings. She was more excited than she realized.

"It's a favorite place of mine, where I used to nest down. I left it, though...haven't been back since." Frenkhul shrugged. He could see that Mahsa was interested in where, so he decided to provide a little more info. "I lived there with someone a very long time ago. When we got separated by some humans, I just never came back." Frenkhul spread his swirl-embossed wings, and looked back at Mahsa. "So, shall we?" he asked, making a motion with a talon.

Masha cocked her head in slight confusion, as well as interest. She was pleased that Frenkhul had opened up to her and expalined his reasoning a little bit more. Of course, the sadness of the story made a fleeting frown spread across Masha's bill. Her ears folded back a little bit, if only for a moment. That human conflict again... why did it have to lurk in the dark corner of every kimera's mind? But she didn't let herself think about it too much, for Frenkhul didn't seem to be letting it bother him at the moment. Mahsa imagined that asking questions and pressing for more answers was not something either of them felt like going through, not right now at least. So she kept her beak such and nodded in agreement. "Yes, let's!" she said cheerfully in an enthusiastic tone, "Lead the way!" She unfolded her wings and allowed them to streached outward, casting elegant shadows upon the ruin's surface. She crouched, balanced on her two paws, and prepared herself to leap into the pale blue sky.

"Alright, let's fly!" Frenkhul called triumphantly, launching himself into the sky. He knew the way to his old territory. He powered through the air, glancing back at Mahsa.
