Several hours had pasted since the male cheetah and the female lioness had come to the Haven inside the jungle. It was a place full of utter magic and elegance. The two had spent a few hours swimming about and even catching a few fish to have for dinner. Then they moved to the bank laying down basking in the sunset witch they saw in the distance from the forest parting enough to see the mountains in the distance.
"Is amazing." Amile said softly laying his head onto his paws as he watched the sunset with his friend. He looked to her slowly smiling.
"What do you think Aisu?" He said as he kept his eyes on her the sun was casting such gorgeous effects onto both their pelts making them glow with a odd light.
"We should...do this every sunset." He said boldly as he scooted closer to her getting a cold chill. The two really didn't have time to dry before the sun began to set before they noticed. The cold air seemed to be playing in his favor however.

The day had been filled with wonders that Aisu had never seen before. Her chocolate colored eyes had seen more than she'd ever seen in all the months she'd been wandering by herself. It made her wonder if every day would bring a new experience for her to discover with Amile.
Even thinking that made her smile as she lay on her belly, head up, watching the sun sink below the hanging curtains of the vines and ivy above them. Everything in this calm and beautiful place seemed to seep peace into her wanderer's heart, making her wish to never leave it despite how much her blood boiled at her for staying in one place like this.
Aisu Kuriimu needed a home.
Amile had offered her one, had offered to let her stay with him, even though she'd only known him for less than a day. Why should she refuse though? They'd found it together and her heart bled at the idea of leaving it.
He was talking. Both of her ears swivvled and Aisu turned her head to gaze at Amile, who was now much closer than he'd been before.
"I think we should let flowers drift out on that pond every evening. To thank the fish for letting us play with them." Her eyes crinkled a bit as she smiled. It was a childish thing to say, but she thought that everything they did here they should thank something for. It was as if a god or goddess was smiling on them.

The male smiled brightly loving her idea. "That sounds wonderful." He said as he stood up and began to pick some flowers. He then placed them on the water and the blue them tell he couldn't anymore letting the drift into the small lake.
He then moved back to lay down beside her. "I picked two flowers of each color I could find." He said as he then looked back to the view where the sun had almost fully set. The stars began to be shining brightly as he smiled.
"Ahh the stars." He said as he watched the sky as the stars began to come out and shine. "I think I'm going to like it here a lot." He said as he let out a soft yawn.
"What do you think would make this place even better?" He said wanting to know if there was anything possible in her mind. He of course had nothing except having some other to swim in the water with and not just Aisu like maybe his adopted brother Chui or that little Cheetah girl he had meet long ago.

Her eyes sparkled as she watched him blow the flowers out onto the water. The fish may or may not understand the offering of friendship, but it made Aisu's fur settle all the better knowing that they'd given an offering to the gentle creatures that lived in the waters they'd begun to call their home. After all, the fish had been there long before they'd come.
"I hope they love those flowers. I'm sure they will though, you picked them." Aisu smiled at him, her muzzle gentle despite how bubbly she felt right then.
Then the bubbles in her chest turned flat, her eyes lifted up to look at the stars, at all the long past kings of the savannah beyond the jungle. All the kings that had ruled prides she would never know about, would never set foot in. If she'd been the crying kind she would have let a tear slide down her cheek, however she was hardly the type for tears.
"A pride would be the only thing that would make this place any better than it already is." Aisu's voice seemed shadowed as she spoke. Saddened beyond what was normal for her. The words seemed to be ghosted from her muzzle as her eyes flicked back and forth from star to star, wondering how many family members that king left behind when they'd passed, how many wounded hearts.

He blinked a few times looking to her not understanding what she had been saying. He was not a lion after all so a Pride was not something he knew of. He had never heared of it before the only thing he knew that was anything a little bit close to a pride was his sister Emogene and Chui who he saw few and far in between times.
"Aisu...whats a pride?" He asked as he looked to her ready to know what it is if it would make this place better then he must know. Maybe they could do something about this 'pride' and make their new home a heaven on the savannah.
"Please tell me I want to know." He said as he moved closer to her shivering from the could night air. He rested his head on his paws as he looked to the sky once more letting her explain what she had to tell him. He listened as his tail flicked side to side as he closed his eyes slowly almost drifting off but snapped up breathing quickly from the fright of falling asleep too soon. He then looked to Aisu blushing a little.
"Sorry getting a little tired."

Of course... he was a cheetah. Her father had explained to her once that only lions lived in pridal families, so a cheetah wouldn't know off the top of his mind how a pride worked, what a pride was.
"A pride is a group of lions, though other feline species can be a part of it sometimes I suppose, that are usually either related or just friends. They all work together to make a nice community that's safe for cubs and everyone. There are usually hunters, royals, elders, cubs, nannies, shamans or star speakers, and a few lower ranks of newcomers. It's mostly something that lions live in. There are lots of prides around." Aisu said slowly, her eyes clouding over as she remembered her past, remembered the family that had been all around her, the groups that had made her feel welcome, supported.
Without a second thought she'd given all of them up.
"It's one huge family baisically. Everyone makes everyone feel welcome and safe. There's always someone to talk to. There are lots of prides out there, but they never overlap." She explained once more, "I was born into a pride, though it's been a long time since I've left."
Once again Aisu's voice became soft, her eyes far away, sad. Lonely.

Amile blinked as he listened to his friend talk about all the ranks and this one large family. It sounded so intrieguing. He wanted to know more. He got onto his belly as he crawled over to her peering into her eyes. His head began to tilt seeing that her eyes had turned from happiness in explain to sadness and longing. The male then gave a small nod.
"This pride idea I like it. We should think more-" He was cut off by this large yawn semi roar like growl. He shook his head then flicked his tail.
"Excuse me sleep is beginning to ever so quickly try and make me rest." He said as he moved his paw up to rub one of his eyes slightly before he let out a small sigh.
"Tomorrow I want to know want to know more...if thats okay with you." He said yawning once more as he rest his head on his over lapping paws to make a slight furry pillow.
"Aisu I've always wanted a family you know...but I was never...able to-" he grew quite for sevral moments before being abel to spit out the last words.
"Enjoy one."

Her eyes crinkled a bit as Amile yawned as wide as she'd seen a frog open it's mouth to croak out it's song in the nights. He was tired, though she herself wasn't. Aisu could stay up for hours, for days, for a week if she truly needed to. It wasn't as if she was going to be affected by the changing of the skyline.
But his yawning was making her start to weary as well. It was rare that she was anywhere near someone that was tired, she'd been alone for so long that she'd gotten used to sleeping whenever her body finally got tired and collapsed.
As Amile drifted off the lioness looked up to the stars above her and sent up her prayers to the kings and queens of prides long gone and still existing. To those that had seen times long before hers and to those that guided and offered aid with their gentle twinkling.
More than once she'd followed those stars. On the night that she'd met Amile she'd been following a rather bright one that lead right to the jungle. Now that same star wasn't as bright any longer. It had lead her to where she needed to be.
Smiling, Aisu laid her head down on her paws and heaved a huge sigh, one full of contentment and ease, and let herself drift to sleep beside the male she'd begun to call friend.

A tinkling sound floated through the night, punctuated by a heavy, metalic thunk. There was no glow, no wind whipping up to announce the arrival of the powerful creature... just the soft sounds and the rustle of feathers.
Green eyes scanned the ground as the goddess searched, hoping to find something worthwhile in the dark. Sure, there was no light to aid her, but there were some things that would only reveal themselves at night.
With the darkness to veil her, she felt no need to keep up the illusions she tended to adopt, her full glory openly displayed. They were a nusance, at best, but necessary when dealing with mortals. Some just couldn't stand the prescence of a goddess revealed before them.
Eyes shone as they caught sight of something, the jingling louder as she trotted over to examine the sillouette of a branch. It looked promising.

Amile woke with a small grunt of annoyance from the gust of wind. He opened his eyes as he looked around thinking he was still dreaming as he saw some thing very odd in the distance. He blinked his eyes then moved to his feet stumbling over to the lioness looking goddess.
He stopped just short of bumping into her as he peered at her blinking his eyes. He then looked to the sky seeing all the stars he looked to the female. She was so amazing she had three sets of wings. He fell back as he looked at her it was so dark that he was unsure what he was seeing was true.
"Mmm what a pretty...pretty." He seemed to doze off just a little the snapped away and looked to the goddess.
"Hey your not trying to take our home are you!" He exclaimed a little he didn't seem to worried to get into a defending stance as he just eyed her closely.
"I wouldn't like that you know...Aisu wouldn't either." He said yawning.

Sanaa was taken by suprise when something suddenly appeared out of the darkness, her wings flaring open to beat the air gently. It was an impressing sight, all three pairs spread to their full extent. Those green eyes of hers narrowed at the other creature, finding a male cheetah before her. He was no threat, that much was obvious right off. Small, slim, and a tad delicate looking, she dwarfed him with her goddess' size.
A smile curved over her face as she caught him dozing on his paws and realized she must have worken him, leaving him still half-asleep.
"Shhh, little one... I don't mean you any harm." She murred softly, soothingly. Her wings slowly folded, closing sleekly against her body. "I have my own home, I don't need yours. Thank you for calling me pretty though. You should go back to sleep... if you do, I'll just be a dream for you." Mortals sure were amusing...

"Dream huh? I am to dream away?" He said yawning trotting over to the chocolate colored female that was him. He curled around himself not far from her.
"Mmmm Dream....away...." Hey said softly then he shot up bright eyed and in a state where it was unthinkable to even think he was fast asleep then woken by the goddess. Now though he was wide awake as grinning happily. Amile then bounded over to the water as he looked at his own reflection.
"I got it Dream Away!" He yelled out as he then looked around for the goddess that had only give him the most brilliant idea. The mostly white male smiled as he moved over quietly as he gave Aisu a softly little nuzzle blushing like mad. Running off trying to find this amazing lioness that had woken him up only to help him in such a way he was not made or upset for being taken from his dreams.
Then the male began to go threw the forest on his way he saw two nightingales singing elegantly to one another as then then flew off in a elegant in flight dance of love. He smiled tilting his head slightly making sure would remember what they did maybe it would come in handy for the collation/pride?

Slowly a pair of chocolate eyes opened and fur rustled down her back. Aisu was awake enough to know that Amile had suddenly gone.
The tearing sensation of suddenly being alone after getting somewhat used to him being there over the last day and a half ripped at her heart and Aisu was up and on her paws in the blink of an eye. Amile had left her when he'd asked her if she wanted to stay with him. Why had he gone off?
And why had he woken her up if he was just going to run off?
Slowly her body sat down and her heart hammered at her ribcage, questioning whether or not she should spring after Amile or just stay where she was. Whether she should test if he wanted her to go with him or if he wanted her to stay out of his life for no reason.
Maybe a dream of his had told him she would be bad? She'd had dreams in the past that she'd known for mere impulse.. that she'd known as bad...
But why did he wake her and leave?
The silence that hung around her was deadening. Even the birds seemed to sense that her mind was in an dillema of sorts, their songs ceased around her as her large chocolate eyes welled.

The moment the mortal had turned back to lay down beside his companion, Sanaa had melted back into the shadows of the trees, using them to hide herself from his view. He had only been half awake, she was sure he'd set her aside as a dream if she managed to make herself scarce. Well, no harm no foul. She might as well get back to searching out material.
The golden body turned as she bent back to the task, real and fake paws rustling in the undergrowth to see what she could uncover. She had enough wood, so she didn't need that... though there was certainly a lot of it around. The goddess needed something new, something different... something to inspire her.
A snail came up under her roving paws and Sanaa picked it up to study, turning it this way and that. The life inside it cowered away, shutting itself up tight as though it could protect itself by sheer force of will. The goddess was so absorbed that she brushed off the sound of pounding paws nearby, choosing instead to pay her attention to her new finding.

Amile stopped spotting the large golden lioness before him moved over from behind her to see why she was stopped. He then looked at the snail in her paw as he tilted his head curiously looking to it at as well. The small male blinked a few times before moving closer to the lioness but then his attention was turned to a small thud sound then a large squawk of pain.
Amile forgetting completely about the goddess because of his kind nature moved over to a small bush where the thud came from. He peeked inside seeing a small injured bird. He winced as he pulled her out slowly. She was scared of course but was in to much pain from her broke wing to do much of anything.
"Ahh are you gonna eat me sir?" Asked the little female laying on the ground looking up into the green eyes of the cheetah male.
"Eat you...I'm not usually one to eat birds." He said as he picked her up gently in his mouth then moved over to the goddess. She seemed rather smart so maybe she knew something to do with the little bird.
