Anybody ever realised how much the government sucks a**? Apart from maybe in Finland...In England, they have banned smoking in public places - even pubs - they have put cannabis back up to class B (even though their advisors said that they shouldn't rolleyes ) AND NOW they are talking about raising the ******** drinking age to 21! 21!!!!!!!!! I couldn't live in a country like that! crying I dunno how you Americans do it confused

I think the government in Norway sounds pretty rockin'. Norway is in maybe, the top ten, I think, for all those lists of things like best economy, lowest unemployment rates, and so on.
I live in Canada, so I'm not satisfied, but I'm not starving to death or being dragged away in the middle of the night to be enlisted as a soldier for a war I'm not old enough to legally participate in, so I'd have to say, I am moderately grateful for they way things are. But I would like to have a smoke in the bar when I turn 18, ffs. emo

I highly doubt they will put the drinking age up to 21. And even if they do, people are still going to drink so who cares. It stops being cool once you get old enough to drink anyway.
As for weed, drugs are retarded, for one, and secondly either way it's illegal, whether it's class B or C. The fact is the drugs were getting more and more s**t mixed in with them and becoming more strong which is why they raised the age.
The smoking ban was over the top but there's nothing anyone can do. At least it's better for asthma sufferers. Complain about the government now, but with a Conservative leadership it'll be even more harsh.

In washington state you cant smoke in any public place or within 25ft of an entrance... drinking age has been 21 for longer than i can remember... which makes sense because there are too many irresponsible teenage dumbasses.

my throat closes when i'm around cigarettes. so it's a good thing. people can smoke in designated areas, their homes, cars, street... I hated not being able to go places or do my job properly just because someone decided to light up. So for me it's good.

My friend had the same problem, now she can go into pubs and be able to breath properly.
