Annoyed from his siblings, Iyami stepped out from them. His parents couldn't keep track of all of them. Plus, it wasn't like he cared if he got in trouble. Though, he did act like somewhat of an angel around his mother. But that was it. It was best not to make her upset that he was like his father, or perhaps worse. Who knew? He swished his tail as he made his way threw some tall grass. It almost covered him completely, but left his bright orange mane, and peach colored head visible for anyone to see. His ears were back and he had a glare upon his face.
He had to go stomp something before he could feel any better. Perhaps a bug, or plant of some kind. He'll worry about that when he finds something good. For the time being, he was just going to stomp around and make a ton of noise to let everyone know he wasn't in a good mood. If he can't enjoy anything, then no one else should be able to.

Teppy rested in a patch of sweetgrass. The smell wove around her and she sighed, letting it wash over her senses. Not only did it taste great but it made a calming bed. As a plus, it surrounded Teppy completely. She had an irrational fear of open spaces and normally the lack of trees would have thrown her into a panic. She didn't remember why she had come out there. Perhaps her urge to explore had gotten the better of her. Now she didn't feel like leaving, though she knew her father would be worried.
Suddenly the peace was broken by Iyami's racket. Teppy's ears shot straight up in alarm. She got to her hooves reluctantly with a frown. What in the world was going on? Then she spotted Iyami's angry expression bobbing above the grass. "Hmmph, somebody's in a bad mood," she said to herself, but loud enough for him to overhear. Then she felt guilty for saying it. After all, she didn't know why he was stomping around like that. Maybe something had happened to him to make him that way, but it was too late to take it back. Her cyan eyes met Iyami's glare with an apologetic smile.

Once he spotted the one who said what he heard was going to get it. Though, his anger had muffled the fact that it was a female who said it. Though, that wouldn't stop him from yelling at her at least. His eyes hit the filly's eyes and he glared even harder. Disappointed it wasn't another colt that he could take his anger out on. "Gotta problem" He said in a nasty tone as he stopped where he was to glare at her. He didn't see her fully, but just her head like his. Unless he was to move closer to her, which he didn't want to do at the moment. His orange hair waved about from the wind each time it blew by.

Her eyes remained fixed on his face, even when his glare hardened. She didn't want his anger to turn on her, though she supposed her comment deserved it. Instead of showing her own anger, she adopted an expression of concerned interest. "If you have a problem, why don't you tell somebody about it? Stomping around here's not going to help anything." Then she turned, caught up to him at a trot, and traveled beside him. Something worried her that, if his anger was allowed to flow like this, he would end up hurting somebody. The wind blew her tri-coloured mane about her face, which helped distract her from her phobia. Though the grass was long, it wasn't a substitute for thick trees. She caught a calming whiff of the grass and glanced back at him.

Just like a girl to say. 'Talk about your problems, it makes it feel better' He snorted at her. "I'm not a girl. Boys don't handle things the same." He said in a still nasty tone. This time with a more 'Like you would know' sort of look. She had no idea what it was like to be a boy. He flicked his tail which made the grass sway fast for a moment. "I ain't going to talk to no one about anything" He said with another snort to follow. He still wished that the filly had been a colt. It would have been fun beating something up without getting into trouble for once.

The filly couldn't help but roll her eyes at him. "What? It's better to take it out on the grass? Or would you rather get beaten up by somebody?" She snorted. "Boys sure know how to solve problems, all right. Yeah, you'll feel sooo much better after getting into a fight. Especially if you lose," she continued sarcastically, guessing from her experience with other colts what he had in mind. "And afterwards, you can show off your battle scars and swap war stories."
Then Teppy shut up. It wasn't like her to mouth off like that, and she doubted that she was making things much better that way.

"Well, if you wished, I could always take it out on you" He said with a sort of smirk, but remembered he was suppose to be angry and went back to a frown. She was so stupid it was so irritating. "Like I would lose" He said as he puffed up his chest, even though she couldn't see it. He moved closer to her, so he could actually see who he was talking to apart from just her white with green and red speckles every where. "I can beat up anyone I see." He huffed again "And I don't see a problem with that at all. Whats wrong with a few scars" He eyed the filly now seeing her whole body... Which was also speckled .

"You wouldn't hurt a poor, innocent filly like me?" She joked, her eyes growing as large and innocent as she could make them. Her sharp eyes spotted his brief smirk and she smiled. "Sure, you look like a fighter," she said, keeping the sarcasm out of her voice this time though she was still being sarcastic. Let him believe what he wanted to believe. "Wait, you actually want scars to damage your looks?" she said, raising her eyebrows. Of course, he probably thought he would look more impressive that way. Inwardly she snickered. Scars made Soquili look battered and old, in her opinion.

He raised a brow at her. Innocent? Even if she was joking, he couldn't help but let out another half snort almost as if he chocked. He flipped his mane, even though he didn't have to, but he was rather cocky like. "Looks? Who cares about looks? Not like I'm trying to impress anyone with them." He raised another brow at her. Fighting was better. Or that's what his father says, and that's who he wanted to be like. His tail flicked again. Hitting more tall grass.

"Really, you're not?" Teppy laughed, throwing her mane back. "You could have fooled me, stomping around like that. You practically screamed 'Look at me'!" Her steps bounced, and she playfully ran ahead of him before turning back to look. "Oh mighty... what's your name? I'm Teppy, by the way." She said, flicking her tail and standing as tall as a filly her size could.

"If I wanted someone to look at me, I'd just say it. " He snorted at the filly who's name was Teppy. A strange name, but no matter, she was strange as well as stupid. He wanted to snap at her, but decided against it. She didn't know anything about being a boy, so she wouldn't get why he was stomping around. He waited a few seconds as if debating he should actually say his name or not. Then decided it didn't matter if she knew it or not, she'd never seem him again he figured. "Iyami." Was all he said in replying to it. He said it in a type of voice that almost seemed bored, yet slightly annoyed as well.

"Sure you would," Teppy said, nodding her head and for all purposes looking like she agreed. Just the thing she expected to hear... complete denial.
"What, you forgot your own name?" She taunted when he hesitated before spitting out his name. Iyami? What a strange name. But the short, neat syllables had a pleasant ring to them. "Well, Iyami, now what're you planning to do?" Teppy was getting tired of walking in the grass, especially when the grass was beginning to thin and the sky was looming unnervingly over her head.

He was getting more and more angry at this female. What was her problem? He snorted at her comment. She was really lucky she was a girl, and not a boy. "If you knew me, like you never will thank god, You'd know better to say something like that." He said glaring at her. "no, I didn't forget it, I was debating if I actually wanted to say it. But seeing how you don't matter, it won't matter if you know it or not." He shook his head making his mane rather fluffy. "Why should I tell you anything of my plans?" he eyed her carefully.

Teppy just looked at him, even though she could tell he was getting more and more angry at her. "I don't matter? How mean," she said with her own little snort. "I don't care if I matter to you or not. I matter to others, I don't care if you happen to not like me." Then she giggled, and nipped at his mane. She thought it was a daring move. "You should tell me, because I'm sure they're really interesting. What's the point of having a plan when you don't share it?"

He glared at her. "I doubt that. I'm sure they just pretend to like you" Of course, he knew that probably wasn't true, but he liked to see what buttons he could press on others. As she nipped at him, he moved slightly away from her, and gave a disgusted look as if she was some type of disgusting creature that didn't deserve to live. " Of course they are interesting! I would tell you, but your not part of it." he simply said with a snort. Stupid mares. They always thought they could butt into other's businesses.
