Amethyst eyes stared out over the horizon, it was just as any day would start out, the sun high up a drift within the sky, cloudless and pure blue. It was a weather to be proud of for these lands however due to that this meant many would gather by the lakes side; Wasn't that she didn't like company, in fact Kagami loved it! There was just one thing about that, a tiny thing that delayed communication. She was extremely shy.
Pondering forwards, her mind had possessed herself to move on, it was time to face the delay and so she was willing to brave it; soon the lake came into sight and to her surprise it didn't look like many was there - air softly snorted from her nostrils and two tiny ears perked up as she continued towards it.
"I guess I was wrong..." She silently whispered to herself as she peered about the lake, the small ripples upon water and the shine that danced upon the lake made everything seem like a dream. A smile played upon her maw and with that she decided to take a long awaited drink, her long wavy mane trailing within the water as her markings reflected like an eclipse within the day.
'I'm slightly disappointed... I was actually hoping for company, things just seem so quiet lately'

 Mapiya tossed her head with a soft huff. Lord she loved living by the lake. It was wonderful to wake up to the morning sun reflecting off the water.
Easing away from the sleeping filly she headed for the water front nickering under her breath smiling to herself. It was a perfect morning and ...oh...Her ears perked as she smiled calling out " Good morning!"

A soft grunt left the mares nostrils as the kind greet of another baffled her. She swung her head back up-right and searched the call and from where it came; Her eyes set upon another soft blue colored female, she was rather pretty and seemed respectably nice, she had even greeted her.
"G...Good Morning!" Kagami replied back with a kind smile once she found the words to. "How are you today?" A smile still painted upon her face she slowly trotted over to Mapiya and slowed to a walk as she came closer until finally only few paces away. "I didn't think anyone was here for a second."

Mapiya's smile was bright and welcoming. "Oh I live near here with my herd, though I was unaware anyone else lived close about. Welcome to the area!"
Her voice held no hint of malice or mischeif as she smiled "I know were some rather juice berries are if you would like to join me for some breakfast?"

"Why, thank you. That'd be great!" The starry mare nodded in delight and decided to accept Mapiya's offer. She hadn't really touched much of anything in days, she didn't really know why, thats just how it was.
"Where abouts are the berries?" Kagami asked curiously, the scrumptious taste already clawing at her tongue as she thought more about it; peaked ears reminded her that she hadn't even asked the kind females name. She chuckled slightly in realization. "I'm sorry, I forgot to ask your name. Mines Kagami, Just so you know. How about yours?" Another kind smile pressed upon her face as she patiently awaited.

Mapiya laughed happily as she led the younger mare towards the berry patch. " Oh my name is Mapiya thought I will answer to Maya, Piya, and HEY YOU BLUE MARE THERE!!" she tossed her head laughing at what was obviously and inside joke.[/color[
(sorry it's short I am not feeling too hot >.<)
