Looking for the mate  
She was nervous to be alone but even more nervous now as pale lavender, or lilac, eyes were frantically moving around. Her reason for being so nervous? Simply put...she was lost, and not for the first time.
Remembering the words of the stallion she had met a few nights back when she had been again looking for Legolas she shuddered. The stallion had warned her of a skinwalker lurking about in these woods and that had her on alert and nervous, jittery even.
Soft sheer wings fluttered upon her back while little baubles of light floated about her wings while her horn lite up gently, softly. She was producing some light so she could see easier in the darkness of the dense woods as she stood still turning in circles as she walked around without leaving the same spot on the ground.
"Where am I...." She whispered to herself voice soft and timid, she was horribly lost and her voice just pleading for some answer, any answer. But with no one around she knew it was a hopeless wish for an answer.

She was so far from home... had she come searching for him? " My love it is not safe to wonder about so far from all familiar " he said and walked up to her, silver horn glinting in the light cast from the glowing orbs. He himself had been far away, but he knew that, and he knew the flight path home..... he was not so convinced his snow dove knew the way and it worried him.

SolsticesContent "I-I was looking for you...I miss you and after hearing of a skinwalker in the woods I didn't feel comfortable home alone when Lyra went out with his child." She spoke softly pale eyes watching Legolas as she stepped toward him slowly she had been so nervous and shaking even. With him coming to her she didn't have to walk and settled for leaning against him, pressing her face to his neck.

TehSquirelMastah Legolas's ears perked to attention. Skinwalker...? So the thread as growing... " He lowered his head and nuzzled the top of her icy mane " Don't worry love, I'm here to protect you. Nothing will hurt you here... " he said as he nuzzled down into those glimmering strands of silken moonlight. She was so afraid.... he hated that she felt this way ever...

SolsticesContent "I met a brightly colored stallion while looking for you, he had baskets, he told me about some skinwalker after him that's in the forest." She spoke softly even while taking comfort in the others presence. "I didn't wish to be alone but I didn't know where you lived...so I thought I would look." And be lucky but she hadn't been. She still remembered the fear that had her leaving her teepee, the fear of a skin walker appearing and just walking into her home.

TehSquirelMastah " Its ok love, your not alone any more " He said, shushing and soothing her, nuzzling her until the faint chime of their horns touching rang into the night. " No skinwalker may harm you, I'm here... " He lurled his body around the tiny mare, protective, one of his large feathered wings curling behind her large glossier petals.

SolsticesContent A small nod from her as she sighed gently. "I'm glad I'm not." More then glad, she was beyond glad she had found Legolas, or rather that he had found her. Nuzzling him softly the wing around her made her feel better as did the touch of his horn. She did feel safe. "So protective...I do feel safe with you around."

TehSquirelMastah Legolas smiled, hald flirtingly with that boyish charm that peeked out whenever it could " Well its alot better then being uneasy around me my winter goddess " He stood there thinking for a moment " ...WIll Lyra and his son be taking off often, leaving you alone....?"

She answered softly her cheeks a purplish color due to a flushing of her cheeks. "I'm no goddess..." She whispered softly wings fluttering while her horn shone like the moon gently caressing freshly fallen snow.

TehSquirelMastah " Ok, a modest goddess, but a goddess none the less my dear " he grinned " If you do not feel safe while asa is out with his son and family... why not stay with me my love, i would protect you... " he asked, watching her carefully.

She spoke softly but seriously. Here she nuzzled against the others side pale eyes closed while she smiled gently.

TehSquirelMastah " Valiant night huh? " He said with a soft grin " My dear lady you put me up to high standards " He smiled but was seriouse " Then you shall stay with me, its settled. " He seemed intierly to pleased with himself, the feathers of his wings fluffing up as if he were about to preen himself.

SolsticesContent "Yes a valiant knight and I do not put you up any higher then I think you deserve. Willing to protect one against a skinwalker is quite brave and valiant." She spoke softly and smiled while her own wings gave a flutter before she nuzzled him.
