Chakavu'roho glanced at his surroundings, a bored expression on his face. That wasn't a surprise, really. He practically always wore that expression. At this particular moment, however, he was lost. He had gone wandering and apparently hadn't been paying attention. So now the large purple lion found himself pondering what to do. He hadn't seen any prides in the area, so he was pretty sure he was still in the rogue lands.
Bright green eyes continued to peruse the surroundings. Nothing very remarkable, nothing that could indicate where he was. There was a rather large tree in the distance, however. Kavu shrugged. Seemed as good a place to rest as any. So he began making his way over, humming to himself as he walked.

Nyota'angavu rather enjoyed exploring the Rogue Lands that would soon be the territory of the Aikanaro'hini. But he enjoyed displaying his new badges of honor to his siblings even more. Just weeks out of the den, and he'd already received his first scars. His siblings could not say as much, proof that his demon blood was indeed stronger than theirs.
The cub smirked until he noticed the adult nearby. He growled and pranced over to the older lion rather self-importantly, glaring at him indignantly.
"What are you doing here?"

Kavu blinked at the young cub, his face not showing the surprise he felt. The cub had seemed to appear out of nowhere. If that wasn't enough, the blue little cub was demanding why Kavu was here. He blinked again, his green eyes showing little emotion He said nothing for a few moments, and then finally answered.
"... Walking. Over to that tree."
He gestured at the tree with a nod of his head. Having answered, he continued walking.

"You shouldn't be here. This is going to be the territory of the Aikanaro'hini!" Nyota growled, his fur bristling as he jumped to impede Kavu's path yet again. But the bristled fur really only served to make him look cuter... More like the little fur ball he currently was.

Kavu's bored gaze returned to the young lion. The boy was rather fervent in his demands. Kavu's eyebrow raised slightly. He had no idea why the land was so important to the young cub.
"Well, if it is going to be the territory of your clan, that means that it currently isn't. As such, the land is free to anyone. Further, why would they send such a young cub to patrol the borders? Can't be that grand of a pride."
Kavu shrugged and turned around. He'd go find another spot if it meant less hassle.

"The only reason we aren't a large pride yet is because we won't let just any rogue lion in. There are requirements," Nyota scoffed, his tail flicking as he puffed up rather proudly. That's right. That lion better go somewhere else. If he knows what's good for him.

Kavu turned over his shoulder to look back at the youngster, an eyebrow raised. He had to admit, his curiosity was getting the better of him. He knew that it would mean less of a headache if he just walked away, but it might be beneficial to learn about a new pride.
So the purple lion heaved a small sigh, turned and sat abruptly. He smiled just so slightly at the youngster.
"Oh, and what may these requirements be?"

Nyota paused and thought for a moment, thinking if it would be at all beneficial to tell this stranger of what it took to become a member of the Aikanaro'hini. But in the end, he decided it didn't matter much.
"Well, you have to respect our traditions, and follow them. And if you want to get a rank other than a slave, you have to have some demonic blood. Of course, it's better if you're a full demon... Like me," he said, lips curling into a smirk.

Kavu's eyebrow twitched, the only sign of the amusement he felt at the cubs words.
"So you're a demon? You don't look much like the demons I've heard of. You're rather small and.... fuzzy."
He didn't mean to tease the youngster, but he couldn't really help himself. His tail twitched back and forth, and he scanned the sky above him, checking the time.
