Suicide Jade
i found a gown that i lovelovelove in a small shop.. the only problem is that i'd have to commit to it because it would have to be special ordered.. *the only one they had in stock was a size 6* i'm gonna shop around a bit more.. i think i'm definitely using the camera idea.. that should be fun our friends are all nuts =P..
we are definitely gonna have a bar.. that was never not an option xD.
i found this great place called the antique wedding house.. i can have a wedding, full reception and bar for 4 hours for between 6-6,500$
look at me.. i babble..
i stop now
xd Mmm.. it depends on where you shop. Most of them are going to say you have to commit, but who wouldn't when it's easier to say you need to do this and that's just the way it is to avoid any kind of hassel on their end. I'd shop around unless you're sure you'll just love. Make sure you make known what you expect from the company, get it in writing. Find out what their return policies are and refund policies. Also, I suggest meeting with the seamstress who will be making any alterations on your gown and make sure she's qualified, because I've heard horror stories about botched alterations.
I have a very limited experience with David's Bridal. I went to one in Nashville and had an appointment when I was looking to get married. Tried on several different types of gowns and saw what I looked best in. The lady that was helping me look was very polite and patient. It could be it just differs from place to place. However, ordering bridesmaid gowns anywhere is silly the measurements are really strange. I'll have to see if I can find my budget wedding book and maybe see if there's some sites that they give for dresses that they found to be pretty good after research.
and that's a great price for ceremony and reception!
