 In beautiful Hawaii many people are staying at the luxurious Lanai Lei Hotel. In this beautiful hotel where elegant dinners are served, extravagant parties are held, and fun isn't an option, four people are about to discover something magical. Four conch shells on the white-sand beaches in front of Lanai Lei Hotel have the power to turn one person into a mermaid or merman the instant they touch it - and then the shell is normal. These people may be hotel guests, locals, or even employees. Five seconds with water on them - even a drop - and their legs are traded in for fish tails. Mermyds may confide their secret in someone they trust, or they may try to hide their 'condition' forever. Humans may fear the mermyds, or they might even fall in love with one. One thing is certain though - this is going to be one crazy summer in Lanai, HI.

 Rules
1. Maximum four mermyds, two boys and two girls, and don't all go blabbing to tell people - react differently than others to your situation.
2. Romance and violence are fine as long as it's PG-16 and follows Gaia's ToS.
3. Interact with others! Some characters are shy.
4. Don't pair up with the first person you meet - love triangles and unrequited love make things so much more interesting. Don't pair up all the mermaids together and all the humans together either.
5. No alcohol/drug references.
6. OOC is fine occasionally, just don't go overboard.
7. Treat all members with respect - no OOC fighting, etc.
8. Keep it literate all the time. I expect at least three sentences. If you're having a really hard time, plead writer's block.
9. IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO POST ANYMORE, TELL ME.
10. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT, DO TALK TO SOMEONE.
