I wanna know why you haven't downloaded "The Slip" from nin.com, for free.

First of all, it's free.
Second, it comes in all those other formats for all you audiophiles out there.
Third, it's digital kickass.

"The Slip" is the latest album from the twisted yet godly mind of Trent Renzor, and it's free of charge. Now, I know what you're thinking, it's free, right? It must be a half-assed piece of crap.

Wrong.

The moment you open up your music player and set it to play the album, whether you start off at "999,999", or somewhere in the middle, get ready for a trip. The tracks send you from a Rave party, to the dorm rooms, feeling real good.
From the industrial beats, to the slow and easy, to the just plain "Oh s**t, Im tripping balls," the album leaves you wanting to play it again, and again, and...well, hell, Im playing it right now.

One thing for sure, there is no sense of flow or direction, each track is like a shot of , and you'll be damned if you don't want more after the last serving.

Oh yeah, and it's free, and comes with equally trippy album artwork in the from of a PDF file.

So yeah, the only thing that doesn't give this album the 10/10, is the length of album, it's defiantly awesome, but it's to short. 11 tracks is way to short for something like this. But, I am looking forward to more musical awesomeness in the future from Trent.

"The Slip", by Nine Inch Nails, gets a 9.5/10.
