Needless to say this was suppose to be a relaxing hike through the forest, however by the very annoyed face of a certain red head and a purple blue haired by sulking behind her this hadn't been going well. It started off well enough, she was certain that her new son would enjoy the fresh air and walking through the woods. He was so curious about everything in her house checking under things and going into closets she had been certain he would have much more fun exploring the great out doors.
Well...he HAD been having fun. That was until Jayoku had to keep hauling him back onto the trail and lecture him about staying close. This wasn't exploration...this was work! Blaine was sulking a couple steps behind his mum. His attention ever diverted by a tweet of a bird or a rustle in the bush. He wanted to investigate these sounds and claim it as apart of his territory. But no...he had to stick close to mum even if he tried to lag behind she would berate him for trying to get himself lost.
He in fact would enjoy getting lost at this moment, be much more interesting anyway. He didn't really get a chance to think on it as suddenly they came to a picnicing area. Several wooden tables were laid out, a garbage can looking a tad too full as well the outhouses were near by.
"Why don't we take a break and have a snack?" A weary mother suggested as she was already swinging her backpack off her back and into her hands. Yes a break from telling her son over and over again to stick close would be nice. Why must be he so ...so...pig headed??
Taking a sigh it wasn't like he wasn't hungry...in fact he was more thirsty than anything. But out of habit he shook his head firmly and crossed his little arms in front of him.
"No." He stated indignantly, watching his mother give a groan and roll her eyes.
"Well I am going to have a snack and a drink of juice. You can either sit with me and have some as well or you can sit with me and not have any. your choice." She muttered moving to the bench and sitting down a granola bar and juice box quickly revealing itself.
Blaine...hesitated before finally succumbing to his thirst and trotted over to where his mum sat. Plopping down he didn't ask for his box but merly shoved a hand in her direction, making the usual grabby hands gesture. Another sigh came from the red head.
"Please...." He stated grudgingly having been trained out of his I want stage and actually using please and thankyou to get what he wanted. It didn't work all the time...so he didn't understand the point of using such words.
But he was rewarded with a box of apple juice, in which he fought with the straw and finally was able to enjoy it.

A bit deeper parts of the forest, a little wolf girl and her former guardian had a walk through the forest. They didn't have any set trail that they followed, just wandered around. Noor had spent almost all her life in the forest (and it was shown in her clothing, she looked almost like indian) so she was comfortable here. She watched Cream running before her between trees, in simple dress she used to wear when she was at her age, sniffing around and examining everything what she saw. She wasn't very worried about the wolf girl. As long Cream stayed as close or didn't trail off to dangerous direction.
"Don't go in there! It's snake's nest," Noor called as Cream was nearing the group of rocks. The wolf girl paused and looked at her mom with a look 'but I want to'. But Noor had that kind of look that told Cream mom was serious and she better to follow her instructions. "Good girl."
They walked about five minutes until Cream arrived at the edge of same picnicing area where Blaine and Jayoku were having a snack. "Mama, look," she whispered and pointed to the berry boy and his mom. She stayed behind the tree, watching from there the pair having a snack. Not that she wasn't interested but mama had warned about strangers.

Jayoku remained oblivious that they were being watched as she bit into a carrot stick happily munching on it. It could use some ranch dressing...but she supposed this would do well enough for now. SHe offered a peice to her son who ignored the offered snack, sometimes he drove her up the wall. He was nothing like she had expected...though what she had expected only the gods would know.
"Do you still want to hike?" She asked feeling her engery being drained even though they were only sitting there.
"No." Was the predictable reply, having finished off his juice box he carefully put it beside himself on the bench. He didn't like seeing garbage on the ground, in fact it made him more sourly as he spotted the overflowing garbage can.
Jayoku tried to retain her sigh. She had to be patient, snapping at him would only make things worse.
"Did you want to go home then?" She offered.
"No." The boy was being stubborn, he didn't want to go home cause it was boring there, but he didn't want to hike more cause that was almost more boring than home. Instead he hopped off the bench and shuffeled his way over to a left over granola wrapper he spotted on the ground. Picking it up he moved his way to another discarded wrapper.
Jayoku...watched him curiously before bolting to a stand.
"Blaine! Put those down! You don't know where those have been!" she cried grabbing her pack and searching for her hand sanatizer she had put in her emergency kit.
Blaine ignored her completely and continued doing what he was doing. It wasn't until he had a few more wrappers in his hands that he felt they were being watched. Coming to an abrupt stop he looked out into the forest as if challanging someone to step forward.

"Hmm?" Noor mumbled as she leaned down to Cream's eye level so she could see what Cream saw. There were humans, an exotic looking boy and a woman with red hair. Apparently they were a mother and a son, by the way they behaved although they didn't resemble much each other.
Noor frowned. She held very little trust in humans other than she knew well. Even Kyo she had not got a strong trust, even though the elven man seemed harmless. Too many times she had disappointed and got in danger because she trusted too much to wrong person.
"Let's not bother then," Noor whispered and put her hand on Cream's white furry shoulder.
"Not bothee. Look," informed the wolf girl and didn't make a move to leave her spot. Noor gave a deep sigh.
"Seriously, Cream. Let's go," she insiscted, feeling sort of nervous already and pulled gently Cream's shoulder.
"No!" Cream hissed and pulled herself free. She wanted to watch them, to know what the berry boy was going to do those wrappers!
"Cream.... Please," Noor begged.
"Just little time," wolf girl said. She stood up and ran on top of the near rock that was a bit larger than she. She could watch better from there.

Blaine resembeled a cat, every nerve of his own prickling in annoyance. There was someone out there, he didn't like it. This was his spot! He was cleaning up so it was his! Holding the wrappers tightly in his hands and ignoring his mother as the red head finally came up to him sanatizer in tow.
"You can't just pick up other people's garbage like that! You could get sick! What if you cut yourself?" She lectured trying to take the wrappers daintly out of his hands but he refused to let go.
"No! Mine! I clean!" He shouted at her, and in the face it was very loud. He didn't care, he would do what he wanted and he wanted to clean up!
"Blaine please..." Groaned the woman who was still trying to take the wrapper's out of his hands. Only managing to tar little peices off and making a bigger mess. THis was frusterating. This chlid was frusterating. Why?? Why did he have to be soo pig-headed??
Blaine had temporarily forgotten about the presence of others for the moment. He turned his body so his mom couldn't reach the wrappers he then took a step away and continued to pick up garbage.
"Blaine...at least let me get you gloves!" She pleaded only to have him ignore her more. With a sigh she went back to her pack to grab the gloves anyway.

Noor gave up easily, she realized that the wolf girl has made up het mind and it was better to let her do what she wanted. At least for a little while. She would probably get bored soon anyway. Children didn't have very long attention span. So, Noor took a seat from on top of the near fallen big branch that was sideways on the ground and watched the wolf girl quietly.
Cream was almost as quiet as her guardian. In kind of way, she resembeled a cat as well, a cat that has seen a bird in distance. Curiously she rose her head in hopes to see the odd pair better. She was changing her position, from standing to on her fours to standing again. In this way Noor chuckled quietly to her silly moves, not even trying to understand. Kids were kids, they were kind of adorable in that silly way.
But then the wolf girl's hand touched something slippery on the rock she was on. Two screams were shouted from Cream's and her guardian's direction as the wolf girl lost her balance and fell.

Blaine stiffened as he heard the screams, he dropped what he was holding in his hands and went to investigate. He hadn't been exactly sure where the sounds were coming from...but he knew somebody was out there...
"Out! Out! out now!" He shouted into the forest pushing past bushes to try and find the source of the voices.
Jayoku jumped a mile as she heard the screams, she turned just in time to see Blaine dissapear into the forest where the sound had come from.
"Blaine! No!!!" She shrieked dropping first aid kit to scramble after the boy.

Blaine's shouts went to deaf ears. The fall had scared the little wolf girl who was now crying violently out loud. In a second, Noor was kneeling down next to her and had circled her by her muscled arms.
"There, there...." she tried to comfort, though she felt rather helpless. Like she couldn't do anything to help the poor girl.
"It huuuud!" Cream cried.
"I know, I know....." Noor said while patting Cream's white hair. She scanned surroundings, sure that someone would come here to examine why the girl was crying.
"Shh, someone's coming." But Cream just kept crying.
