Its been a while since our last event. I'd forgotten how profitable they were.
So far I've been buying items (event crowns, collars, Siriano's cape, Mythrills)
low and selling them high. Yesturday alone I made *mental math* around 50k doing this.
My comp isn't fast enough to scoop up mispriced items so I skim the MP for the cheaper stuff and sell them higher.
I also immedialty sold my elemetal hair for 90k (average was 50k!) when the MC's came out.The Hair price has dropped to 70k now, I'll wait a little longer for the price to stabilize before I buy it back.
How are you making your gold?

im good at the game thing and have made a good chunk of gold off of that and i had bought 7 letters ( for about 20k) back at the beinning of the month and i sold those for about 35 each. now im just enjoying the event

Pretty much the same way I always do: buy low and sell high biggrin .
I dabbled a little in the event items yesterday, but event items tend to have REALLY volatile price points, so if you're not on top of where they are selling right now, you can lose a lot. And my real life is keeping me from paying as close attention to Gaia as I might like smile . So I'm pleased with what I made with the amount of time and effort I've put in.

i buy stuff for cheaper in the market place
and from the exchange. Most of the time
i bought stuff from the exchange for cheap
and see high in the mP!
there also 2 gaian
who willing to sell their event items
12 for 1g only!
i got 36 items for only 3g ...it was a great profit!

I've been making a killing off the sealed envelopes over the past year. I also have a sword of aegis and the envelope containing demonic anklets, and old christmas and halloween items as investments. I'm still insecure about vending more than that.

I'm still insecure about vending more than that. pretty much the same! best cash i made was stopping gaia for 3 years while having 2 sealed envelopes, a yeti asides the stuff i have on so yeah, gained a net of like.... 240k? and bought some of my other things..... so yeah, i fail, 3 years for that amount stressed sweatdrop xd

Yeah, I used to, as well. I have five sealed envelopes that I don't plan on selling for a while. Some of them are already worth a lot. (I forgot how much, exactly). Some aren't. I'm hoping to get back on the buying and selling train soon! heart

I am not good at keeping up with the market, so I try for long term investments.
Mostly, I donate for items I want and collect stuff to play with.

I use to do that as well...... but than I became lazy and started in long term investments......... with the price drop I have lost over 2 million gold in investments so far. crying
So I might go back to it.

Whee, I only had a small hoard of last year's festival shirts, but I made around 100k, which I've wasted reinvested.

Ady needs your Halp ...I buy sealeds between the 1st of the month and opening day.
I sell them afterwards on opening day for a bit inflated price. Its a good 2-6k profit depending on the item in the letters ... to win Mei Mei's heart.
