Hm. Granted, I haven't really seen the newer BSG, and can't correctly answer your question. ^_^;; Still, I assume you refer to the BSG timeline Earth.
That said, does the new BSG take place in the future, past, or our current era time?

That said, does the new BSG take place in the future, past, or our current era time? I have no fraking clue when it takes place. It's forty years after the first Cylon war. But that could mean anything in our time.

And the most recent episode has made things even more complicated... @_@
I had a thought, though: Is that planet that we think is Earth really Earth? You'll notice that no landmasses were seen from space in the last ep...

You'll notice that no landmasses were seen from space in the last ep... When they showed it in the season 3 finale the showed North America. I recognized Florida. It looked like a bunch of ruins to me.
