 Ramus was shocked at how well things where going specialy after having dafina meet his father. at the moment he was alone geting a cold drink of water as the hot weather was a nice change. muzzle now dripping with water, he knew dafina wouldn't be far as they had been pretty much been staying with one another and never leaving each others company for too long. smirking to himself, he was lost in thought as his stared at the water.

Dafina herself was quite relieved that the meeting with Ramus' father Raum had gone well. She had been so nervous at the beginning but he really didn't seem like a bad guy at all. He seemed like the sort that knew when to seperate business from play. And was pretty relaxed in her book. Quite unlike Ramus' grandfather who she had only briefly met.
A few days after the meeting, the mare had gotten this odd feeling in her stomach. Just something she couldn't shake and had no clue what it was. She had thought perhaps while eating she had munched down some bad berries or leaves. But, wouldn't that go away after a while? There really weren't any seriously poisonous plants around. Some could give you a slight tummy ache sure, but this really wasn't so much a tummy ache as just a strange feeling she couldn't pinpoint the source on.
Not long after Ramus had arrived at the source of water did she appear a few minutes after him. She had stuck close to him a lot. And yes, they had spent quite a bit of time together. Which made her worry a bit about that feeling. And it made her want to go visit her mother. Perhaps the older mare would have more insight. She didn't take a drink, but walked up next to him. Nuzzling his neck with her nose and closing her eyes. Taking in a deep breath of the summer air and letting it out slowly.

Ramus attention was now switched to dafina as she nuzzled his neck. he had really be paying attention so he had been slightly shocked she was suddenly next to him. nosing at her, it seemed to him as if she was worrying over something or need to say something with how she had her eyes closed and taking in a deep breath. it as if she had something imporntant she needed to speak of but couldn't. " you alright?" eyeing her, he could be a fool and start asuming bad things but he awaited to find out what was up if anything at all was up at all.

Her eyes opened half way as she glanced up at him. A slightly worried expression crossed her face as her ears flicked back a bit. "I'm not sure. I just feel odd. Like somethings different but I can't really place it." In all honesty, Dafina hadn't given it too much thought as to what it could be. She just instantly assumed that perhaps something had upset her stomach.
How was she to know of these kinds of things?
Turning her head, she looked at her stomach briefly before turning back to him. "Theres just this weird feeling in my stomach." Biting her bottom lip, she looked down at the ground for a second. "Perhaps we could go visit my mom? She might be able to give me some insight..."

Ramsu frowned upon hearing that she had been feeling odd. he than gave a nod of agree when she mentioned her mother might have some idea and nuzzled Dafina. " i agree i bet your mother will know what's up. so shall we go find her?" ofcourse he was worryed a bit but really there wasn't much else to do except talk to Dafina's mother whom he knew and asumed would know what was up.

Nodding her head, she smiled. Happy that he had agreed to go see Firefly. She figured her mother had more experience in the world than she did. And she'd really like to talk to her anyway. "Yes. I don't think her home is too far away so it really shouldn't take us too long to find her. Well--as long as she's around that is." Her tail flicked back and forth a few times as she glanced around the area. Trying to get a feel for exactly where they were.
Dafina had much knowledge of the paths that laced the lands. Things her mother taught her as a filly. In case she had ever gotten lost. Turning her nose east. "I think we should be going this way."

" i'll follow you as you know the way so lead on." Ramus knew it was far better to let Dafina lead to where Fireflyy was because she would be the one to know. tail flicking, he grinned happy that they would get to the bottem of whatever was going on with Dafina.

She took off at a lesurly pace. There really wasn't much of a hurry to get there, plus she wanted to make sure they were indeed going the right way. A soft smile came to her lips as she walked along, keeping to his side in step with Ramus. The mare wasn't sure what was going on still, but hopefully her mother knew. Shoot, her mother probably would no. So why should she even doubt if she did?
Glancing over at Ramus, her smile grew. She was happy to be with him. It seemed now like they had always been together. And that there was never a time they hadn't been. The past pushed to the back of her mind. Now was not the time to think of such things. But in her heart she was kind of glad that it had happened. Kind of. If it hadn't, well--who knew where they would be?
The silence for a bit was deafening. Only the soft sounds of nature enveloped them. "So, I'm glad to see that your father was approving. However it is in his own little way."

Ramus had no problem going at a lesurly pace as it seemed Dafina wasn't too worryed or he figured they would be going faster to meet her mother. as the walk contiuned in silence his mind wandered in thought and was thankful Dafina spoke so that he could keep attention rather then seeming foolish for sllowing his thoughhts to wander. " yeah i'm glad too, more than you know cause i expected him to act worse over it." giving a soft chuckle he wondered what Dafina's family would think though he knew how her grandfather would react if he knew they where being together.

"Well you know. People can surprise you sometimes and do what you don't expect them to. Besides, he seemed to like the fact that I could hold my own anyway and didn't seem like some fruu fruu mare." The journey didn't seem to take very long at all. Soon they were in a part of wooded area that Dafina knew very well. Not much farther and they would come upon her mother's home. And then perhaps her questions would be answered. She hoped.

" yeah strange how that works and im sure that definatly won points with him." with the chatting how ever long the walk took was never noticed by Ramus as his attetion was focused on the conversation. tail flicking, he hadn't yet been where Dafina's mother lived as they would always meet up somewhere they both knew they could meet up.

"Mmhmm!" She nodded her head enthusiastically. Dafina was happy that she could hold her own. It was apparent to her that if she didn't Raum might not have approved of her. If he approved of her at all that is.
Her gaze swept around a small clearing that they had entered. The trip really hadn't taken that long. Perhaps they were a lot closer than she had at first figured. But she didn't see her mother around. Perhaps she had gone out for a bit? Oh well. "I don't think she's here at the moment. We should stick around for a bit. She'll probably be back soon, I hope." Dafina made her way underneath a large tree with low hanging branches. The leaves and thin branches scratching against her back lightly. Finding a nice grassy spot, she did a few circles before laying down. Her sides heaving heavily a few times.

" yeah and its not like we got anything else to do." Ramus chuckled as he watched dafina go lay down under the tree. making his way over, he laided down at one side of the tree close to dafina. giving a small grunt when he laid down he also was hoping they wouldn't have to wait long as it would be nice to figure out what was behind Dafina's stumach problems.

Dafina leaned against Ramus. Settling her head against his neck with a smile. "Thats true." Her ears moved this way and that as she listened for any hint of hoof falls nearby. A slight bit of movement not too far away catching her attention, she lifted her head to look in the direction of the noise.
The dark mare had finally returned home after her little outing for something to eat. Long mane and tail trailed behind her as she made her way through the thick under brush. As she made it to the clearing, her dark red eyes spotted two figures beneath a tree. Well, she certainly hadn't expected to find someone at her home when she returned. But the two Soquili were familiar. "Well well, if I knew I would be getting company today I would have stayed home."

Ramus' allowed Dafina to lean against him and stayed still to not disturbe her. closign his eyes for a moment it seemed to be the minute they got relaxed someone showed up. opening an eye, he wasn't supised to see Dafina's mother. grinning, he had both eyes open now and looked over at Firefly. " lets just call it a unexpected visit on both ends."
