This is a PRP for:
We`rika, Chloe Star, Roux(Frei), and Aphismet
Setting: Durem Jail The police had insisted that she ride in the back of the ambulence. She was greatful that they let Roux stay with her, though Aphismet was force to travel with one of the officers in their cars. She sat in the stark white, sterile vehicle beside Roux - who broke at least three syringes and came very close to getting physical with one of the MDs that were simply trying to make sure that Chloe was sound of body. By the time they'd pulled into the driveway of the Durem Police Station they had managed to give somewhat of a check up, deeming her healthy enough to go in for questioning now. She'd been well taken care of, save for a few bruises here and there that very well might have been caused from rough treatment during the rescue. The two exited from the back of the ambulence and were ushered toward the police station. She didn't see him at first... it made Chloe incredibly anxious. It wasn't until they were fully into the station and heading back towards a private room that she spoted him. "A-Aphismet!" Chloe hesitantly moved away from the officer that was guiding her, Roux casting a feirce glare back over his shoulder as he followed her towards the chef. "A-Aphi.." Her voice lowered even as she reached out to hold onto the hem of his shirt, like a lost child. After everything had ended... as they'd been waiting for the police to come Chloe couldn't help but wonder something. "W-...Where's We`rika?" With a small flash she rememebred the moment she'd seen in through the car window. His startled expression. She'd watched him chase after the car itself as Cody had driven through a red light to get away. She couldn't forget that.. she'd actually been surprised to not see him there before the fighting had started... then she'd just forgotten about everything but the present.

Aphismet had protested at length about being unable to follow Chloe into the ambulance, watching her being pulled away from him just moments after they'd been finally reunited. But the officers assured him that he would see her again at the police station, so after a long while of arguing, Aphi had finally relented, sitting with arms crossed in the back of a squad car as they headed over.
Cody had gotten away too lightly, if you asked Aphi. Pneumonia, and probably life in prison... Aphismet still couldn't believe that Chloe was ready to forgive her brother for everything he'd done. Just because they were family. It was horrible.
...Something nagged at Aphi about what he'd just thought, but he was unable to find anything concrete, so he just dropped it.
Soon enough the squad car pulled up to the police precinct, and Aphi easily noticed the ambulance was already here. That meant Chloe should be... Ah! Her voice, calling out to him, was like a giant wave of relief that washed the stress off him. He'd felt like he'd lose her again by letting her out of his sight, but here she was, safe and sound. He wrapped an arm around her as she grabbed the hem of his shirt, smiling at her reassuringly.
Her next words drew a gasp from the white-haired man. "WERIKA!" he exclaimed. "I forgot about him, with all the excitement! Actually, he should be here," Aphi added, sheepishly. "H-he was arrested as he called me, something about harrassment or something? He asked me to make sure that you bail him out." Aphi was sure that he would have eventually remembered the Huichol, but his brain had been a little too frazzled at the moment. Thankfully, Chloe's mind was still clear.
Aphismet led the way into the station, to the front desk, where he asked what the procedure was to bail someone out. After all, Aph had never done anything like this before.

We`rika sat on a crappy bench in a holding cell with half a dozen other hillbillies and jackasses of Durem. He held his head in his hands, thoroughly and obscenely bored. The Huichol did his best not to look at the filth and nastiness around him who were always looking to start a drunken fight or any inebriated shenanigans. He just sat still and stayed out of trouble since that was the last thing he needed.
He hoped Aphismet would hurry up. Not for his sake really, but the longer he took to pick him up the longer it meant Chloe was still in danger and that ate him up inside.
Every time the double doors open, his head whipped to the entrance hoping it was Aphismet and Chloe. 0 for 45 at this point.
"Hey..." Oh God it couldn't be. "HEY! Aphi! Officer... OFFICER! He's gettin' my bail, him right there! HIM! Aphi! tell him!" We`rika waved frantically at the two from behind his cage.

Chloe's head swiveled as she heard the familiar voice, tears immediatly wanting to surface. She wobbled toward the cage, stuck for a brief moment in the memory of the last moment she'd seen him. If he hadn't...
"We`rika." Her voice gave a small break, and she gave a small sniff to keep the emotions in. She wanted to reach through the bars to him but resisted, keeping a safe distance away. "Please let him out?" She tore her eyes away from her friend, turning to hold out her hands pleadingly to the police. "We'll b-b-bail him. H-How much is it?"
Roux floated near to Chloe, sparing We`rika his usual baleful glare to pin it on the officer that tried to speak up. Probably trying to get them to move along so the questioning could go underway.
"His bail?" The officer behind the desk tapped at the computer in front of him boredly for a moment before nodding. "It'll be $500."

Aphismet had also perked up at Werika's voice calling his name. He grinned over at the Huichol, and nodded, following Chloe over. Aphi would have to remember to give Werika a giant hug when he was out of that cell; it was thanks to him that Chloe was free.
Chloe's plea to release Werika damn near broke Aphi's heart, and he knew that he had to get the shaman out of there no matter what. The officer's announcement of the bail, however...
"F-five hundred?! Wh-..." No, don't argue, Aphismet told himself. "You take credit cards, right?" He sighed, reaching for his wallet and walking back to the officer's desk. The policeman began going through the process to free the Huichol, sitting Aphismet down and taking his credit card, entering info into the computer, leaving Chloe and Werika alone to talk.

"Hey, Chloe..." We`rika greeted softly, his hands holding tight to the bars, eager to be free. His smile grew impish and toothy as Aphismet hauled out his credit card. "Thanks, man! I owe ya a shi' ton!" He waved to the two officer that came over to release him.
They pulled Chloe to the side and We`rika obediently turned around by the door his hands behind him as they unlocked the holding cell and ushered him through.
So he didn't scare the entire precinct, the shaman slowly walked towards the little lady and hugged her tight. "I'mma glad yer safe..."

She brought her hands up to rest on We`rika's chest as he hugged her, trying her hardest not to begin crying again. She'd thought she had cried them all out back while she and Aphi had waited for the police car. Chloe took a gulp of air before returning the hug tightly, her voice muffled as she pressed her face against his chest.
"Thank you." She backed up, reaching up to rub at her eyes with her wrists. "I h-h-hope I d-didn't... c-cause you any g-g-grief." Her eyes clear of tears she looked up at him, giving a shy smile. So much emotion swelled inside of her for him, and she felt as though their small friendship had grown to something a little more.
The officers shoo'd the both of them away from the prison cell and back toward Aphismet, standing behind him as he finished the transaction with his credit card.
Roux drifted hesitantly forward, arms crossed over his chest as he finally stopped in front of We`rika. His expression was sour, eyes flicking from the far wall back to the huchiol. It took a few moments before he opened his mouth to speak, directing his words at a potted plant near the corner rather than We`rika afterall.
"...Not bad thank."
He thrust a hand out toward We`rika in the gesture of a handshake, his gaze on the plant growing all the more intense as the faintest trace of color dusted across his face.

Aphismet had the sinking feeling that he wouldn't be seeing that five hundred dollars again, but if that was the price of Chloe being found, then it was fine. He gave the officer all the information asked, his name and address, his connection to Werika... By the time it was done, Chloe and the huichol had gained his side, and Roux was in the process of thanking. It was obviously something Roux didn't normally do, and fearful of breaking the tense atmosphere, Aphismet simply took back his card quietly from the policeman, then walked over to Chloe's side, taking her hand and squeezing it reassuringly.
His eyes, however, remained riveted on the icy Frei and the shaman, waiting to see what would happen next.
