This is a storage space capable of holding over 150 zoids. I take em all, but I do have one rule. Try to place yourself next to other zoids of similar animal types, not opposing, for example, let's say John puts his Command Wolf next to my Lightning Saix, dog next to cat, not good. My hangar is for peaceful rest, repair, painting, customizing, whatever. Just no fighting in the hangar please. Thus the rule of placement. Copy this form and reply with your name and zoid in a space for placement. Until I gain permission or am denied by dbzgurl, this hangar is free.

Twit trotted on up to the huge complex, the black tarmac, darkened by oil, the huge building in the center a glossy shade of black, same as the tarmac. Unceremoniously, Twit dropped the warshark onto a pad numbered 7, which started going down. Edge turned in his seat in the cockpit to look at Cho.

"Did you enjoy the ride?"

Cho seemed a bit preoccupied looking out of the cockpit and at her zoid to make sure it was fine. "Well, we got here pretty fast, so, yeah. It was kinda fun." she turned to look at him. "By the way, do you have a name I can call you by?"
PostPosted: Sun May 18, 2008 6:10 pm

"The name is Leon, Leon Maguro Edge, you can call me Edge."

He opened the cockpit and climbed out.

"This is my Lightning Saix, his name is Twit, he's got feelings by the way, so say thank you when you get out, you don't live with him. Twit, lay down."

Twit laid down and put his head on the ground.

"So you don't fall as far."

((Last post of the night. I'll be back on after 2 o'clock my time, 17 hours from now for the rest of you. You'll have to do the math yourself. Edge, signing out.))

Cho hopped out and bowed to the Lightning Saix. "Thank you for the ride," She smiled to it. She turned back to Edge. "Well, Edge. How long will it take for you to repair my Zoid?" She paused a second, thinking. Hm... not so sure if that's a good conversation opener. What if he just gives a blunt answer?

"Depends on a few things. External damage, internal damage, scrap metal supplies, obedience of your zoid, possible upgrades you may want, yada yada yada. This IS a military base, abandoned of course, but it still runs very efficiently, meaning I can do pretty much everything. I can also keep out any group of zoids up to 30 strong. This is possible due to the 750 30mm laser cannons mounted on the perimeter as well as numerous heat seeking missile launchers, proximity mines, and code reading sensors that will activate hardened alloy spring loaded spikes. The only safe way in is the road we came down, and even then I constantly have forty 30mm to 50mm laser repeater cannons focused on it. The hangar itself is capable of holding up to 150 zoids of all sizes, there are 7 repair hangars below the storage space, and then an engineering facility. It has many features that I myself have crafted. I am a man of many talents. I am a mercenary, scavenger, mechanic, pilot, and above all I am an engineer. How about you Miss...?"

A perplexed look crossed his face.

"I didn't get your name. Or the name of your zoid."

"Uh, it's Cho. Cho Seikatsu. My zoid is really just called Warshark, cuz it's a Warshark. I'm a mechanic as well, but I mostly specialize in underwater and underground Zoids. I don't own any base, personally, but my dad owns this island with plenty of Zoid production and excavation sites. My dad's personal hanger is 3 miles underground and can hold up to 300 Zoids. He's also given an excavation/ production site to my older brother, but that one doesn't hold but 20. It's pretty small."
A pause for breath.
"Did you customize your Zoid, or was it born like that?"
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 6:52 pm

"Born like that. In fact, he's not even a manufactured species. He's an oddity."

Thought momentarily.

"You're a mechanic? Wanna see something i've been working on for quite some time?"

"Sure," She nodded. "So, if your Zoids not a manufactured model, how do you know what parts to use and not use on it? By the way, do you have anything to drink?"
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 7:11 pm

"I have to make my own parts, that's why I pick scraps off the battlefields, to melt down. Mind you, I never melt down whole parts or mostly intact parts, like legs or cockpits, that would be plain dumb. As for that thing, well, follow me."

Turned and walked into the hangar, then to an elevator, and as he walked he said.

"So Cho, what are you, 17, 18? I'm 19 myself, but since i'm out here alone most of the time, I don't see very many ladies. However, I do happen to brnig back the pretty ones, but none so pretty as you. I'm looking for a co-worker right now, and maybe a partner in the romance department. Do you know anyone about your age that might like me?"

Cho followed in quickly. "Wow, you sure know how to get to the point. Well, I'm 18, I've just recently joined a Zoids team but I'm kinda unemployed; my dad sends me money if I need it. As for partners, I'm assuming you mean a girlfriend. And I'm pretty sure any girl my age would be into a guy like you if you took them to dinner or something. You know, showed them a good time?"
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 7:26 pm

"Well..."

He said pushing a button labeled X-13.

"I think that as a mechanic, this would classify as a good time for you. This little project of mine uses intro-sychronous cores for real time battle data and live action actual damage observation. It's really quite a project."

"Wow, this is really something," Cho looked in amazement at it. "So... the best way I could think of doing this is by somehow snchronizing the cores with OS cameras in order to attain perfect lighting and viewing of the battle sequences. Am I close, or...?"
((m'kay))
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 8:11 pm

"Not even close, you see this is just X-12. X-13 is much different"

The doors opened up to reveal a huge 750 by 750 by 750 underground cube shaped complex with a giant spherical model of Zi taking up the vast majority of it. Here and there miniature zoids of various species could be seen, close to 8 or 9.

"Each of these zoids on the globe are intro-sychronously corresponding to a larger counterpart. Whatever happens to them, happens to the mini. It's revolutionary if you ask me."

He pulled a Warshark a replica off of a conveyor belt.

"Your warshark."

He put it on the globe and watched as it traveled to and into the hangar on the globe.

"See what I mean?"

Cho nodded as she continued to look at the globe. "Okay, so now that I know the 'what', can you tell me the 'how'? Or is that a trade secret?" she asked, watching the Warshark replica on the globe.
