Hidalgo smiled as he watched the clouds move slowly across the sky. Spring was fully on them now, and he couldn't help but take a deep breath. The sweet smell of clover and flowers was prominent in the air. He was starting to gain the weight he had lost during the winter, and he found the he had gained his strength back as well. He was happy about that, as now it was time to start finding other again. He was feeling a little lonesome.

Bella lays in the middle of the field watching the grass get blowen by the wind, she closes her eyes resting a bit it had been a while since she had time to herself away from her herdmate, Enjoying the feel of the sun on her flower patterned back and neck, sighing she decides to stand and see if she could find anyone to talk to.

Hildago walked along in the fields; his pace a quick clip, and a gentle breeze tugging at his mane and tail. The gentle breeze was too much for the stallion, and he broke into a frisky trot; kicking his heels up like a colt as he felt as though he was much younger again; a colt back in the fields where he was born.
He chased the shadows of the clouds that came across the field, and frolicked with the creatures that scurried from his path. Just because he felt like it, he bucked several times; throwing his heels high over his head, and towards the blue and white sky above. It was almost as though he could kick the clouds that raced above.

Bella spotting sometone playing , chasing something else, she blinks and watches him, him was intresting she never seen a stallion playing like that intresting she stands there and watchings him again, hopefully he wouldn't mind her watching, she noticed that he was a strong looking stallion, she wondered what he would do if she called out to him, she watches him a bit more starting to move closer to him

Hildago snorted as a small fox ran away from his hooves, and it was in following the fox that he saw a strange mare standing just to the side of the field. She was a pretty pearl white, with blue flower patterns along her sides and marking her eye. From a distance, she was very different from the surrounding area, and was unlike any mare he had ever seen.
Hello, he called out to her, hoping that he didn't scare her away.

Bella watching the stallion notces that he must have spotted something in the grass, she sees him following something infront of him, then spots her, she tenses watching him look at her, she smiles sweely at him as he saids hello " hello there sir, I hope you don't mind me being here." she smiles again "I'm Bella Lillian."

He gave her a pleasant nod, then tentatively headed towards the mare. No, i don't mind. i was hoping to find some company today. It's been a long winter. My name is Hidalgo. That's a nice name you have Bella. Where are you from?

she smiles at him, he was so nice " I'm glad, I like your name Hidalgo, thanks, I'm from a Island far from here I just came here about a month ago, this place is differant, then the place i grew up, I live in a garden it is beauful, where you are from?." she smiles again

Hidalgo smile. Thanks. You have a pretty name too. In response to her question, he just gave a general nodd to the plains around. I was born and raised in these plains. I've moved to the mountains, and I've crossed the desert. I've even played in the ocean. But for me, these plains will always be home, no mater where I am. It's so open, and it's easy to run. Not many rock or trees in the way.

she smiles sweetly at him " your welcome." she listens closly very intrested in what he had to say " Wow you been everywhere, you must like to travel, yeah I understand why, you must be a great racer, I wish I could see you race." she smiles again at him then smirks abit " would you like to race me to the lake?"

Hidalgo smiled, and nodded his head. Yes, I've been to many place, and each has been it's own challenge. I've enjoyed it, even though I always had to come back here. Which is a good thing I find, because then I get to meet other... He lowered his head a bit in acknowledgment. Such as yourself. He switched his tail at a spring fly that landed on his flank, and gave a slight nod again. I would like it if one day you got to see me race. I'm more of a distance runner then like those who can sprint quickly, and yes, I would like to race you to the lake.

Listening carefully it sounded like a great story that she would like to listen to if she could get him to tell it, to her sometime " that sounds great, I'm glad you have enjoyed it, meeting others is always a good thing, because you have the chance of making friends." she watches him as his switches his tail at the fly " do you have any races coming up soon? that sounds like it is a lot of hard work, it also sounds like you work hard at it." she smirks then starts to streach her legs out a bit, then looks at him and gets in racer stance " would you like to honor or me?" she smirks again

Hidalgo had to shake his head. No, I don't, unless you count me going off on an adventure. I haven't been around others for a while, and there aren't many soquili out here to race. He smiled, and headed off at a brisk trot. Lets go Bella!

" oh, I understand." she watches him smiles then head off in a brisk trot " okie." she takes off, troting up to his side and watching him carefully she feels herself start to give a little more speed trying to get a head of him or at lease streach her stide out a little

He can't help but smile as he feels her try to pull ahead, and moves from a brisk trot, to a smooth canter, and then into a fast-paced gallop. His muscles stretch as he runs, and he can't help but feel the joy as the wind combs it's clear fingers through his mane and tail. The soft thud as four sets of hooves connected with the grass-covered earth, and were muffled as they made their way towards the river. This was life to him.
