Hi Everyone,
I know this doesn't belong here but I thought to put it in a place where people will see it. Please keep it here as long as possible.
Red Cross is accepting donations for the cyclone and earthquake in the south eastern part of the world. If you've donated to Red Cross already, that's awesome. If you haven't please consider. I've seen the images and the kids who are at the shelter, the dead being unburied, the living stuck 1/2 way in limbo; the shelters literally packed with kids, alive but lose greatly. No family, no home, nothing but the sympathy of everyone else.
I volunteer for the Red Cross and so I wish to advocate the donations link on the website: www.redcross.com
Please go there and make a donation, even a dollar makes a difference for those who now have nothing.
Sincerely, DL

I've noticed the sub forums actaully have been gettimg more attention lately, but I can understand why you'd want this here. Since this is a serious topic, I'll allow it to stay where it is.

You can also make donations through your banks.

Sending cash in the mail is a bad idea no matter where you're sending it. A check has to be cashed to the person it's adressed to, cash can simply be spent, and you don't know by who.
