((Wow, I am epic fail at RP titles. XD)) Sheng Xue clicked his ever-restless hooves over the path quickly. His heart was alight with the joy of helping yet another traveling merchant to his destination quickly. The sun was shining, the birds were calling, and a tiny breeze ruffled the plains.
Over one shoulder, Sheng could see the tiny figures of villagers hard at work tending their plants. The sun glinted off of the water, making the field look like a shining expanse of light. Snorting and pawing the ground with a hoof, Sheng called upon more wind to cool the villagers' backs. That's better. he sighed, as the air slid through his mane.

((Sorry it took me so long to join in: trying Gaia this weekend on dial up = major lag XD )) Hui Lang was enjoying the warmth of the sun, giving him great energy as he watched over some of the villagers. His eyes half lidded, he couldn't help the smile that came to his face as he listened to one of the elders telling a tale to several of the younger children, nodding at the hidden message that he knew they would carry with them.
The change of wind brought the sound of hooves lightly clattering along the road, and he raised his head in curiousity, the breeze toying with his mane lazily, as though it were some mere plaything. And, ah, before him, another of his kin.
'Ah, a visitor.' His smile grew at the thought, letting the story be for now to greet this newcomer.
"Welcome," he said warmly.

((Sorry for being so late in replying! My computer seems to be on the fritz as well. @_@))
Sheng Xue snapped out of his admiration for the scenery to acknowledge the greeting that this brown and green had given. "Thank you! Is the weather here always this nice?" Sheng asked, peering over the land. "Everyone here seems so happy and healthy, I think there are more Qilin around than we know about." he chuckled softly. More than I can say of the rest of this land... he thought quietly, his countenance darkening a fraction.
