Ever wondered how to call your own Circle of Power? Here's how:

Most people think we all poke ourselves with knives, put our blood in a pot, the pot goes poof, and we all start chanting with maracas... that's not really the deal here.

Yes, we do light the candles, chant [or drum and begin a rhythm to build up power], but we do not pour out our blood. Remember, magick is about being able to heal and empower yourself as well as others.

Here is a list [in order] of how you create your circle:

1. Cleanse all your items of negativity or bad energy. Say:

~Holy Mother, I cleanse this [item of choice] of all negativity in this world and in the Astral. I consecrate and regenerate this [item] in the name of the Lord and Lady.~

2. Set your items in specific orders and places in the area you are going to call the circle

3. Step out of the area and meditate or calm yourself. You want to be connected with Spirit without being in a bad mood

4. Begin everything to start the ritual [light the candles, burn the sage, sprinkle the herbs, et cetera...]

5. Stand in the center of the circle and ready yourself [take a deep breath once more, relax]

6. Hold out your dominant hand, index finger pointing to the ground, and start to walk in a clockwise [Deosil] direction while saying:

~I conjure thee, O Great Circle of Power, so that you will be for me a boundary,
between the world of men and the realms of the mighty spirits,
a meeting place of Perfect Love, Trust, Peace, and Joy.
I call upon the Angels of the West, South, East, and North to aid me in the consecration.
Thus do I conjure thee, O Great Circle of Power.~

7. Hit the ground once and say:

This circle is sealed!

Do not forget to seal the circle, or it will not work. By now, you should have walked the whole way around the area of your circle once, or if you were walking faster, three times. Also, as you walk back to the center, always always always always [ALWAYS] walk Deosil, or clockwise. Walking clockwise brings positive energy and builds up the power.

8. As you settle yourself in the middle, do whatever ritual you were planning to perform.

You have finished opening the circle. Now is the part where you close you circle.

9. Stand at the North and face that direction

10. Now, hold out your dominant hand, index finger pointing to the ground, and start to walk in a counterclockwise [Widdershins] direction.

11. Hit the ground once while saying:

~This circle is open,
but never broken.
We are the people.
we are the power.
we are the change.~

12. You have successfully learned how to open and close your Circle of Power, yay!

There are some more tips and things you can learn below.

a) Remember, you can conjure your Circle of Power anyway you want. You don't have to use my specific words or some riddle in a book, this is just an example.

b) If you [or someone participating in the conjuring] has to go to the bathroom or get something for the ritual [et cetera], the only way out is to follow these steps:

1. Walk in a clockwise direction to the exit of the room
2. Point out your index finger and pretend you are drawing a door, starting from the floor
3. Pretend you are walking out of the door [turn the knob, push it open]
4. Once you are out of the circle, close the imaginary door as if you are closing the shades of a window
5. After you get back from whatever you were doing, repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.

Do not forget to walk in a clockwise direction to get to the center of the circle!

c) You will also be learning later how to Call the Corners.

d) Notice carefully, anything italicized is very important vocabulary and/or information!!! Your own study helps. [I will not baby you through your own religious experience, so check out some books, or ask some people who have been studying a longer time]
