Tagalog sounds similar to Indonesian (Indo's my most fluent second language). I can't actually pick out any words exactly the same, but the overall sound of it is similar. Can anyone teach me some basic grammar and vocabulary of Tagalog? If it's in the same family as Indonesian, I might be able to learn it with more ease than some of my other studied languages.

My mom's a Filipina, she's forgotten a lot of Tagalog since she doesn't really use it anymore, though.. I want to eventually learn more in Filipino than "I love you" and "Do you like animals?" XP
