Obrius Transformation
The beast that plagues your mind gives finally is released in times of great need or emotion. With time one can gain a slightly higher level of control and learn to release more of his power. In every form no matter the class of the host, Obrius is a warrior and so to is the host when he emerges.
Limit levels/Obrius Transformation
level 1 Ranks 1 - 2
Obrius Spirit Union - The flesh splits in several places where the orbs within emerge from hiding and protrude slightly from the body for all to see. Lending his power to the his host, the NTER cannon has a stronger force to it. The NTER blade can now become MUCH larger or two can be wielded one from each hand. Muscles become slightly larger and the energy at the core increases and eyes turn white. This form can be maintained for 5-10 posts depending on damage received and level of exertion. (if rank two it can be maintained for 7-12; rank 3, 10-15; rank 4, 12-17; rank 5, 15-20; rank 6, 25-30)
Level 2 Ranks 3 - 4
Obrius Emerging – The transformation is just like with the spirit union but takes it a step further. Small wings made of panels of the same energy that the NTER sword is composed of appear from two small orbs that emerge from his back. These can not be used for flight, however to come into contact with them is just like contacting the NTER blade. A new weapon is possible in this form, a whip that can extend to twenty feet. The cannon is made stronger still and the core energy is increased to an even higher level. Also the cannon is no longer confined to simply his heart. A version as strong as the one in his host form can fire from any orb upon his body. In this from his skin becomes white as snow and seems to almost glow somewhat with a white light. This form can be maintained for 5-10 posts (at rank 4, 7-12 posts; at rank 5, 10-15 posts; at rank 6, 15-20)

Obrius Reborn – The Transformation is just like the ones before it, only one step further. The wings grow larger now , and flight is possible. The biggest change is that the core energy shifts to negative colors of it’s usual state and the entire body is then consumed with the energy of the previous core. As if the entire body is now as if it was same material as the NTER sword. The orbs are still visible within the energy form, contact with him is dangerous. Beams can be fired from every orb and tendrils of energy can fire out from any of these orbs. Blades of the massive variety can be summoned to both hands. The main cannon is even more powerful than in any form previous, a single blast from this can cause extreme damage to anyone hit by it. This form can be maintained for 5-10 posts(10-15 posts at rank6)

True Obrius Unleashed – The transformation is like the one before only as with all the others, it is one step further. Once the energy consumes his body, Obrius vanishes in a brilliant white flash to leave a very new being in his place. With new wings with feathers made of light, a black hide and three eyes on it’s face Obrius is a strange creature. Largely muscled body, with clawed fingers. There is no sign of the orbs or of the NTER but still this being can call forth the blades, the tendrils, and even fire the cannon as if it were some form of breath weapon or from his eyes. All these weapons are at an even stronger level of power than before. Obrius is stronger physically than ever before and fights like some form of demon straight from hell. Although the weapons it fights with seem to be made of the purest light. This form can be maintained 7-12 posts.
Why You Want Limit request: Vincent Valentine is my favorite character from the final fantasy series. While I took careful measures not to make a clone of him definitely adding my own elements to the being, I did want a few things that linked back to my final fantasy idol. Aside from elements of the same personality the main thing I wanted was to have my favorite power from the ff7 game as my own. With dirge of cerebrus they show that Vincent is not the only one with an ability to transform so I believe this is not an unreasonable request.
Have You Had it Before: Not yet, this is my first time doing final fantasy rp.
What would You Do with it: uuuumm…use it? :p seriously I have it set up so it is a last resort of sorts, or an element ot heighten dramatic moments. It creates a whole new level of personal depth to my character as he not only struggles with the challenges already presented to him but also the added challenges of having this second force within him dieing to get out.
Why Should We give it to you: I know we don’t want a billion Vincent clones running around here transforming all over the place that is why I made this limit break very specific to my character. I believe for other rpers to do the same they would also have to write a bio just as descriptive as mine as well as be sure to make good reasoning and explanations as to how they got that way and create a VERY original form or set of forms in their own limit break. I believe that I have done these things with my limit breaker and believe I had made it reasonable enough that I should be allowed to use it.
Also it is kinda central to my character without it I would basically have to rewrite half his bio. (but I guess that is more my problem than it is yours)
What do You Know About it?: Well I wrote it so I guess everything :p If you mean the transform ability from ff7 specifically I know everything I could glean from wikipedia and a few other sources. I have friends who have played the game who I could try to ask more specific details if I have to.
I know the ability to transform is not a common thing, but I also know that it is not signature to vinent alone (well it was until dirge of cerebrus came out but that counts.). I know that the form has a time limit of sorts based on energy from within. I know it is an entity from within the life stream, I know with time and training one can learn to overcome the beings intellect and cooperate with it instead of controlling and subdueing it or letting it take over. I know that when the form is slain you are not it just ends and you have your health back at the point from which it was used (though for logic and originality’s sake that had to be altered for my limit breaker) and that it is only an at will thing later on in time. Usually it is triggered by strong emotion, dire need, or lots of combat building up to a climax.
Give Example of Rp with Limit Breaks:
Obrius was cornered. He had no way out and no way around. Battle had been his pnly choice so he had called forth the energy to form his blade and begun to fight. This had been some time ago but it seemed there would be no end to the flood of SOLDIERs coming for him in this building. His blade flickered, he was nearly out of power. Another SOLDIER advanced on him and swung their sword down upon him. Obrius raised his blade to block and that was when it flickered out and vanished. The blade struck into his body deeply. Obrius could not help but cry out in pain. His mind went wild and he could hear the voice within him LET ME OUT, I CAN DO IT, I CAN TAKE THEM! Obrius relented to the power and felt it consumer him. the core in his chest seemed to swell up and he could feel it getting stronger. His body felt more pain as the wound seemed to close up but at the same time various splits appeared on his body as the orbs became visible as the grew from within. Energy washed into him and wings appeared made of the energy, behind his back. His sword remerged and his body became consumed in a wash of energy. Obrius was Reborn once again! The offending soldier was cut down in a single twin chop from the massive energy blades. The blades vanished and the hands extended towards two separate opponents that fired energy beams from each. His two targets were knocked back and then the tendrils appeared five in all and began to knock his foes out of his way. The SOLDIERs were no longer trying to rip apart thgeir target but flee it… It was too late however, Obrius was loose and nothing would stand in his way. It was not long until he was seen exploding from the side of the building and flying away into the night…
