 It was nice to get away from his housemates pestering him to play. All that he wanted to do was to be with Jayn or just to watch everyone from up high. What had mostly drove him out of the house was that Cadi wanted him to chase her all over the house in a game of tag, but he knew that he would never win as she was bigger, faster and sometimes mean. The only thing that he learned from Cadi was to climb trees effectivly for his size.
Wandering around the forest trying to find a good tree that he could climb and watch for others. Finding one he climbed it and seddled one of the lower branches. Content on his postion he started to look around for something intersting.

 The Gemspawn was out and about today, having decided that now that he was an adult, he should get acquainted with this wide world. The gold and grey-silver of his coat glinted in the afternoon sun as he walked... or rather pranced and pounced along. A swallow swept by, seemingly on a course that would end up with it crashing into him but then it suddenly darted left. Blinking, Thane bounded after it, trying to watch it's movements so that he could figure out just how it turned so sharply. "Heeey! Wait uuuup!"

Spotting a gold and grey-silver kitsu comming towards his tree chaseing a bird. He was also low enought in this small tree to be spoted by the other. "What a waste of energy," he thought has he was unmoving all excpet for a slight motions from his tails. But others behavor was fun to watch, Damek trying to figure out what the others next move might be. Unknown to Damek the bird was headind straight for him and landed on him thinking that he was a part of the tree.

Bounding after the bird, he frowned as he lost sight of it when it entered the trees and slowed, tails twitching irritably. Thane disliked it when a subject got away as it left unanswered questions. Still... He continued forward, ever hopeful that he'd locate the avian once more. You couldn't just give up could you?
How did it turn so sharply? ... Where had it gone?
Standing beneath the tree in which Damek was lurking, he gold and black kitsu sighed. At least until he heard the chirrup of a swallow above and looked up, "Oh! Ooooh!" He tilted his head to the side and peered at the form above him, "You... have a bird on you, you know that right? Actually, it's probably the swallow I was studying." He went back on hind legs and stretched up as far as possible, claws digging into the treebark. "Why are you up there?"

So his cover was blow, what a stupid bird. Has he turned his head to the other kitsu. "Yes I know there is a bird there. It thought that I was a part of the tree," Damek answered but when he talked the bird finaly figured that he wasn't part of the tree and flew off. Damek was a little sad that it left as it was a niffty looking one. But the other was just as entersting and he thought for a second on how to answer the other question. "Becasue, I like to watch."
