Ok, demonic plane.
Three "factions" the demon lords (mostly mods only)
Minor demons (mostly members)
and the various other races that have travelled/been enslaved/been exiled there
Demon lords rule the city and outlying areas, put taxes and all that
I'm thinking there'll be some kind of rebellion force inside the city, as well as crusaders trying to kill them or assassins
Anyway, put in ideas, brainstorming thread here.

Hmmmm...well how abotu a modern city...with a demon realm as another dimention...And the mods as teh ones that keep the balance..

How could it have died?
It wasn't even finished.
Most of us couldn't even post since role playing was limited until the rest of the areas were made.
Which never happened.
I have no ideas.
All ideas of Demon role plays are mostly used already, that I know of.
Contact me when the new renovations are done.

hmm...how abotu...we do it in fantasy kingdoms..with separeate hierarchies and reagions and having allies and enemies between them?

I like the Demon plane Idea, but to make sure it appeals to people you need to be more open with the rules and develop the world not just a city. Yes the main role playing grounds would be the city but you need to make the universe you play in solid. This applies to any thing you make. If it is too restricted people will not have fun. Also if the world is weak the possibles are limited and that is no fun ether. If you do this it will target stronger role players and your guild won't die.

Oh, I've got a freaking novel worth of ideas for this plane, including history that goes over 1000 years in the past.
But cmon people, give other ideas, I don't wanna just make a guild for me, I wanna make it for others.

How about a rp taking place after a nasty and brutal war. Everything is in chaos. Crime and Poverty is at a all time high. This scene can go with any world or time period, but i find enjoyment out of the medieval fantasy type worlds.

Brilliantly articulated! I cannot have put it better myself! (Especially since I'm a scatter brain when it comes to these sorts of things.)
However! The whole High Demon, Minor Demon Hierarchy thing sounds a little iffy to me as in members would probably wonder what's up with the "Demon Lords" being all better than them.
And what of the Demon Plane itself?? Are Demon Lords to be more or less Lords of their certain hunk of land like Mideval times or is it going to be a more modern demonic world or what??
(Also, I'd still like to vouch for the old guardian concept. I really liked that idea, however, I think you should omit the dragons as well as the undead, the splitters and the elves. Unless of course you make some sort of Mythical creatures section where the undead, dragons, lycans, etc are included. And you could have fallen angels and angels together and possibly demons. Then of course, you would have the guardians. In the old guild, guardians could be any race but yeah. I think I'll stop blabbing about it and let people see what they think of it but I believe it was a strongly enjoyed topic and people had fun with it. I also liked the part where there were abilities already listed so people could choose from those abilities since it makes it a hell of a lot more difficult to godmod. ^^)

Everyone has such pretty ideas, though i cant agree with the modern time Demon concept, I think its been overdone and its not as much fun as old time demon role plays.
I do like the idea of the idea of the mods being a higher power, but maybe not as that is. It would be cool to have maybe higher powers that the mods are, maybe lords or something that has a hold over the realm.
I also like the idea of the war, that always throws a realm into chaos, and thats always fun!
Since I have commented on other idea's, now for one of my own. It would be a lot of fun to have higher power found within the demon realm, though you would need to find a reason to have other race's and species to be in the realm. I would rally love for war to be a part of it, and I think it would be interesting if the demons had called on other races to take their size. Or perhaps the demons are against each other.
Anyways, I'm out of idea's now, I will keep thinking about it blaugh

I had another thought
Same demon thing, However.
There are two realms, one is human and "Evil" the other is Demonic and "Good"
The humans are the ones with slaves, human sacrifice and whatnot, and the demons believe they are trying to free the humans from their leaders, while the humans are afraid of the demons and kill them whenever they can.
Thoughts?

That is a interesting idea, but in stories such as that the humans always gets the stick up the butt.. However, if you twist it that the human and the demons are two different noble societies and there kingdoms are at war with each other over a few miss said words, or something like that. You could also add, that the took prisoners but instead of throwing them into a prison they forced them into slavery.
