Kibaxx just a question i never played the game but is she related to felt or viese because they have the same last name Lita was created by Iris, so she's technically her cloned daughter. Her name comes from when Iris was adopted by Felt and Viese. Her name was changed to Iris Fortner in Grand Phantasm. According to Wikipedia, Iris Blanchimont and Iris Fortner are supposed to be two completely different people, which I don't believe, though I haven't gotten around to beating Grand Phantasm yet.

At most, Grand Phantasm appears to be a standalone game. ^^; From my playthrough, I did not notice any obvious connections to the original Iris and the only viable connection I see (but is entirely open for interpretation) is Iris Fortner's alchemist-oriented lineage and her possession of the Esclario. =

Like Kagome is to Kikyo in Inu-Yasha.

That could be possible, and I haven't beaten Grand Phantasm either but I think it is just a standalone game like what Asashikka said. It seems to have barely any of the similarities. Actually I think what you say Palsa is true as well. My opinion is too biased to take part in these conversations xp

I think both Iris's are incarnations of Lilith, but in themselves, are separate people.

How does it look?
I borrowed the description from the website and reworded/corrected the profile so it doesn't appear wholly amateurish and abashed with awkward sentences. ^^;
Profiles are a nice (extra) feature, but I feel that it shouldn't deter the central layout (thus the quote format).

Palsa-San Aven XVI Lilith? I don't think I know her... If you've played the first two games, you would know. I've played the first two games, but I don't know or remember her at all. Then again I haven't beaten either of the games. I'm at the very end of Eternal Mana though

As much as Lita is the central heroine in Eternal Mana, I honestly don't really feel for her. n__n;; She's fun and moves the plot, but I don't quite recall many events that is awe-worthy ahaha ;;.
I hope you can finish Eternal Mana soon~~ ^o^

Then again I haven't beaten either of the games. I'm at the very end of Eternal Mana though Ok, Lilith is the Mana of Creation, and is mentioned quite a bit in Atelier Iris 2. All Mana were apparently created by her. Iris Blanchimont is an incarnation of Lilith, I'm still not certain about Iris Fortner yet, but I believe that she is another incarnation of Lilith, but in a different time period. Lita Blanchimont was created by Iris Blanchimont, as sort of a cloned daughter.
