Ok here it is the thread on Satanism. i'd like to point out that Satanists do not worship your Christian Devil. The practice of Satanism is to live by one's own morality the name comes fromt eh idea that Satan is the churches symbol for humanity.
The Nine Satanic Statements
1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence.
2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams.
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit.
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates.
5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek.
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires.
7. Satan represents humanity as just another animal species, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of its “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious species of all.
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification.
9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as it has kept it in business all these years.

My first question just to understand the....religion? Is it considered a religion? okay newayz my question is what do you believe happens when you die?? I'm just curious...my friend (satanist) says it's not interlaced with the Christian belief of after death at all. I don't know EXACTLY what he meant...

...well...that was blunt. Does that make you feel good?? Knowing that after this you just stay dead?? That it is all over?? I'm sorry but TO ME it just doesn't seem logical...but then again that's why i'm a christian i guess.

Anyways the belief of death is shared by alot. That's actually what my closet beleif of death is. Can't say I respect Satanism as a religion, because from what I gather there's no worshiping involved. I mean it's basically saying live by your instincts and make your own rewards happen.

Though I guess both of our beleif's are still coverd in the First Amendment.

Your the 2nd dietist (or w/e it's called) i know. I DO know however that i've grown up a christian...so i might come across narrow minded. I try to keep an open mind...but it's hard w/ parents cramming the bible down your throat...so bare w/ me...in case I'm coming across that way sweatdrop i hate it when i do that. Because i am honestly interested in other religions, and my parents know that....and hate it. So far i like mine best but u never know.

From what I gather Dizzie, you like and beleive in your faith, but still seem to respect others. There is nothing narrow minded in staying true to what you beleive in as long as your not rude to others about it. Respect my beleifs and I'll respect yours.
