Yes, it's true. I can't make it to prom. I am thoroughly upset. But I have a good reason! I'm getting married May 17th. (Yay!) But this is still very upsetting... - Have you ever missed a Gaia event? Why? (I've missed the Christmas event because family came down and visited..) - How do you Gaiaholics deal with such a tragedy??

You must be pretty excited/nervous right now, it's only a few days away.
I missed the first TRC quest while I was away on vacation, but that wasn't such a big deal. I'd hate to miss a big event, I like hanging out with people in the event forums. On the bright side, you can always get the event items pretty cheep off the market right after the event, so it's all good.

I'm making my sister sign in on my name and do all the prom stuff for me, hehe. I helped her out at the Halloween event because she was uber busy with school. But I'd never let anyone else do that for me.

Me too! I live on EST time and it gets confusing.
But, that means I can spend all my weekend on Gaia.
I've missed Xmas and Halloween, but that's cause I quit.

Lesse, last year exams took a huge chunk out of my Gaia time. I've missed a fair few quests but never events since most of the big ones last at least a week.

Congratulations!!!
I usually miss easter cause I am visiting my mom who has dial-up and an old computer. And Easter is usually a short event, it they have one.
This year was just lame.
