Behind a fairly nondescript door lies Captain Nakamura's room, which is a gem on the ship. one of the few quarters with a window, it's placement near the side of the ship affords it a precious few extra feet of space. those few feet are filled with bookshelves containing ancient texts, many more than 3,000 years old.
the rest of that side of the room is taken up by a bed that isn't quite long enough for him, but still works, and a small desk cluttered with models, weapons, parts, and more books. On it sits the small datapad that contains his pized "volumetric computer", a tangible hologram interfaced PC that can be taken anywhere. beyond the divider, like most other rooms, is the usual kitchenette/living room, containing all the necesessities for a bachelor, even an overstuffed couch somehow shoved inside.
The walls and floors are beautiful mahogany, paid for by Kai himself out of one year's paycheck. the viewscreen on his wall has various cables running from it to his many gaming systems, including replicas from Earth's 21st century.
