It had been a while since he had been able to do a swimming class, they were always fun if for no other reason then getting to go swimming himself. The only down side being that his glasses always got wet when trying to do swimming classes and that without them he was a bit useless. The red head was sitting on the side of the large pool of water, feet dangling in and he was reading over his notes on his clipboard. There were going to be a total of three students in this class.
Drez he'd heard of before strangely both of his sons liked the same person which was rare for them. Wouldn't be the first swimming class he'd had with a snake in it. Azoc he had notes about from those in charge. It said that she was a lobster girl that should be interesting to see he thought to himself. The final one came with an extra couple pages of notes one of which said that a D-Tech would be bringing the boy by as he currently was living at D-Corp.
He looked up from his notes to the clock, they would be by any time now he thought to himself.

Drez was excited that he was going to have a class. He had waken up early as he was too excited and had gotten his uncle up too. Calder didn't know what to think of D-Corp from what his sister had told him, but he would take care of Drez for her. At first he wasn't going to get too attached, but Drez has wiggled his way to his heart and loved the little boy.
Releaved that they had found the room. Calder left Drez to go to his class and that he would be back later to get him. Giving him a hug before leaving. As Drez entered the room tongue was going a mile a minute has he was 'looking' around the room. Senceing that there was another in the room and slithered towards the source as the other had a slight smell of both Geia and Ter. Wondering but he would get his answer soon anyway. Drez didn't say anything until he was closer to Orpheus.
"Hi, I'm here for a class," he said with a smile.

Azoc hoped she wasn't late this time! She slid in the doors as her antennae perked towards the others, eyes bright and keen at learning something new. She rarely got to learn something new due to Tiil'xhin, but Kanth had urged her to go ahead, to just go on without Tiil's permission. She knew she'd get some flak later, but Kanth had assured her that she'd very well take care of it.
Kanth made a good mama, Azoc thought to herself.
Sitting next to the snake, Azoc glanced to him curiously in silence, and then to Orpheus, blinking. "I heard 'bout you from 'dusa." Azoc murmured softly, giving a smile.

Orpheus looked up from his clipboard as he heard someone approaching, he turned to look and then gave a smile, "You must be Drez, welcome to class." He told the snake boy, "We are waiting on two more students and then we will start with our lesson."
Just as he was telling the snake boy this a second child appeared, "Hello Azoc." He greeted her, "Yes, I remember Medusa, how is she doing?" The class with Medusa had been one of those classes that was a learning experience for both student and teacher.
The door to the classroom opened up a third time, this time a small boy with dark red hair and brown tinted skin stepped in. He was wearing a many sizes to large D-Tech lab coat. He seemed to have been ushered into the classroom and then left behind by whoever had dropped him off. Orpheus did his best not to twitch, he may not like most of the Techs but he did like his boss and he liked his job. For that reason he wouldn't complain about the Techs... out loud.
"Kliken, come on over and join the class." He called, "Now that everyone is here I will explain what we are doing today."
Kliken walked forward slowly, sitting down near the other two and seemed to be doing his best to hide in his coat, obviously uncomfortable.
"Today we are going to be learning how to swim!" Orpheus said, "A good skill for any kid to have and its a lot of fun as well."

Drez just nodded to answer Orpheus. His tongue still takeing in all the new smells of the room and especially of the people that came in. As the other two kids came in and sat down next to him. He turned his head to get both of there scents, he somewhat knew what the girl's animal DNA was but the other boy's stumped him and couldn't figure it out. Smileing "Hi, I'm Drez," he said to the other two.
Hearing on what they were going to do in class, Drez politely raise his hand. "But I already know how to swim," he said and he sat down on the ground and put his tail in the water. Almost half tempted to just jump in and show.

Orpheus looked down at his notes, scribbled something down then nodded, "Alright, that will help us out then. For you Drez it will be a review on swimming, once I see that your good at the skill you can be my helper. How does that sound?"
Having someone here that could swim would be helpful actually, it meant that he didn't have three young ones with no idea on how to swim splashing about in the pool together. He'd done that once before and while it had been fun it was a little nerve wracking at the same time, "How about we all get in the shallow end of the pool and get used to it? Feel free to splash around all you like this is supposed to be a fun class."
Orpheus set his clipboard down at the side of the pool and slid in off the wall. In this section of the pool the water was no higher then three feet and it was marked off with a rope where it started to get deeper, a line these three couldn't cross at the moment.

Kliken watched the teacher off one of the students the position of being his helper, then got into the pool. He didn't seem at all scary like the Techs could be. He'd kind of thought that since the man worked for D-Corp that he was instantly going to be scary and yet... he seemed to be smiling a lot.
The leech boy rose to his feet if a bit slowly and started to walk towards the edge of the pool. He looked into the water and gave a small smile, he liked the water himself but he wasn't allowed to play in it alone since he couldn't swim. Maybe after this class he would be able to swim whenever he wanted? That was a nice thought. He shrugged out of his lab coat, folded it and set it aside carefully before he proceeded to climb down into the pool.

"She's doing well-" Azoc started, but went silent once the teacher started speaking. She sat with her legs crossed, tail curling behind her as she waited expectantly, antennae perked to listen with all her ability. She hadn't had the ability to really actively get out and do anything due to Tiil'xhin, so this entire thing was completely new to her, and she was eager to learn.

"Ya! Sounds fine with me," he replied as he was quickly taking off his shirt and threw it a far enought from the pool edge that it wouldn't get wet. Following Orpheus lead into the pool but going head first. Swimming was so nice but he perfered saltwater and swam under the water to get the details of the pool where he wouldn't bump into anything and serfaced next to Orpheus.

"Once everyone is in the pool I want you to just get used to the water, splash around, enjoy it. There is no need to worry about anything because I am right here keep an eye on all of you." He said, watching as Drez joined him in the water and did really well in his demonstration, "Very nice job Drez."
He walked over to the edge of the pool and held a hand out and helped Kliken into the water first then held his hand out again to Azoc to offer her help in as well.

Kliken took the help from the teacher, finding himself in chest deep water. He gave a sound of surprise and delight before he let himself sink down into the water to his chin. This was nice he thought before looking over towards the snake that was in the water with him, "H-Hello." He greeted him.
If he were going to be helping the teacher he should get to know him, that and he just looked nice. Pretty colored too.

Azoc took the offered hand and smiled, sliding into the water with ease, tail curling around her waist as she glanced over to the other two. Water was her natural habitat, and she was already used to it thanks to Medusa having to be in a pool pretty much all of the time.
Figuring she'd better introduce herself to the other students, Azoc offered a smile and waved a claw. "I'm Azoc."

Drez just smiled at the complment and flicked his tongue out in a silly motion. What he really wanted was to swim in the deeper water were he could strech all the way out to swim, but he 'saw' a rope and knew that he must not pass beyond it. But he sota wanted to scare, as it was fun before he got a punishment.
Turning his head when he heard the boy talking to him. "Hi!," he replied to the other with his tongue taking in the boys scent to memorize it. Then hearing the other he waved back,"Hi, I'm Drez," he repiled for the both of them.

Orpheus turned to look at his trio of students before giving a smile, alright they all looked like they were ready he thought to himself, "Now the most important thing to remember is to stay calm and careful. The water can be a lot of fun so long as you are."
He knelt down in the water so he was closer to the level of the kids and deeper in the water, "First off we are going to just do the motion of the arms while we stand up in the water." He started to show a simple, scooping motion that was known as 'doggy paddle' to them first.

Kliken gave a smile and a, "Hello." to the girl as she came closer. Azoc and Drez, the two names were filed away into Kliken's mind for later. He wanted to make sure to remember their names in case he was lucky enough to run across them again some time.
His attention was then turned to the teacher. Arm motions he thought to himself before he started to mimic the scooping action.

Azoc whirled her arms in a slow motion, trying to imitate the teacher and feeling a little bit foolish. She felt a little better, however, at looking at the others and seeing them do the same thing, and allowed a small smile to cross her face. She hadn't had the chance to really swim, and this seemed like it would be a fun activity once they began to learn more actions.

Drez had a very puzzled look on his face when Orpheus talked about arm motions for swimming. Then he never had used his arms to swim they were always at the side of his body has his tail did all of the work on keeping him swimming. "Arm motions?" he asked a little embarised on not knowing but was still confused too.

Orpheus reached over to take Drez's hands in his, helping the boy to cup them, "Like this, then you scoop the water. It helps to pull you forward faster." He explained to the entire class, "There are a few other arm motions but this one is the most simple. From there the next important step is kicking.. or in Drez's case the slithering motion."
He walked over to the edge of the pool and got three flat boards and handed one to each student, "Hold onto these while practicing your kicks they will keep you afloat."

Kliken looked down at the brightly colored board he was handed before he leaned onto it and attempted to kick. He was a bit surprised when he found himself moving forward through the water. He gave a pointy toothed grin, how fun!
