[T]o whom it may concern,
My name is Felicity Ocilac... Inside these pages I hold a record of dragon species that I will be providing to D-corp. I hope what small bit of insight I can provide on the different behaviors of species can be of benefit to their new partners.
Please view the information as a guideline, as everyone is different, including dragons.
There are roughly 3 types of dragons within every environment... As D-corp has experienced first hand, there are Good dragons... neutral dragons, and evil dragons... the dragons alignments are not necessarily depicting of their nature, as it is purely based on their feelings towards humans. A biased standpoint.
I have broken the dragons into the following environments to help categorize them.

[T]he Itremore is a large bodied dragon, though its build is more stocky than most. It's neck is short, as are its legs and feet in order to conserve heat. They live in small communities of 3-5, and build massive piles of rocks high up, where the sun can warm them throughout the day while they hunt for food. They spend the rest of their time basking.
Their wings are built for retaining heat-- large, dark markings on the webbing of their wing are used to absorb heat throughout the day, keeping them warm when they fold them against their bodies.
The eggs are kept warm by their design-- large, black shells absorb heat... And the inner walls of the egg itself are filled with a fatty deposit that provides insulation. The parents adjust rocks around the bottom of the egg to keep it at optimum temperature.
Once hatched, they grow rapidly... only dependent on their parents for the first few months of their lives, before they pick up the habits. Once they reach maturity, they "leave the nest" quite literally, flying to a new location they'll start a new community.
For these eggs, it is advised to rear them at D-corp for the time of their maturity, and allow them to use their instinct to relocate to arrive at their child's house.

[T]he Fragore, are a large slow moving type, living off the ground, and in low-to-the-ground-trees. They feed off of fruits, nuts, berries, and vegetables... easy to get things, making them a purely herbivore species.
Fragore are a highly vocal breed, creating songs in many different languages. The Fragore form pair bonds, with these songs, which can last for several mating terms, or only one mating term. It varies.
Like a bird, they build nests for their eggs, spending their time doting over the egg, turning it, keeping it the right temperature, until the baby dragon hatches. The parents take turns caring for the young, until they're "ready to leave the nest"
The dragon will likely form a pair-bond like relationship with its caretaker... but will need much caring for after hatching, as it's completely useless until its instincts completely fall into place. Feeding, cleaning, and the like will be the responsibility of the new partner.
Cassidy, Katherine [T]he Arbo, are the smallest "rideable" dragon. With a healthy diet this dragon will be ready to ride on schedule, but if the owner does not keep it well fed it will be too small to take flight with a passenger.
The Arbo live in rocky cliff structures, forming pairs that will mate for life. However "cheating" has been observed in these dragons. So not all offspring are the fathers sometimes. The most suitable male is always chosen. The male and female will tend to these hatchlings until a few months when their wings are ready to take flight.
The dragons love to chew at the salt deposits on the rocky cliff side, and find it to be a favorite passtime. They're not terribly good at fighting, agility and defense are their primary attributes. Their small size and high energy makes them quick and hard to catch.

[T]he Pathor, is a sea-dwelling dragon, spending its days in the deepest crevasses where it can live undetected... it has a keen sense of sight, allowing it to see in the dark depths where the adults dwell.
The younger, and smaller dragons are less apt to handle the water-pressure, and spend their time in corals and seabeds. These nurseries are kept watch by their mother. Their mother first lays her egg in the protective casing of a giant clam, there the shell often hardens even further... when the egg is ready to hatch, the mother returns as if by magic at the exact time of hatching. Each mother must stay away as the baby dragon attempts to free itself from the rock hard shell... some do not make it... but those that do are greeted with many months of maternal care, until finally it is time for mother and offspring to go their separate ways.
The dragons hold a peaceful relationship with many of the ocean's other life, keeping itself sustained as a familiar whale does... only on microscopic plankton. As such, they have generally no quarrels, and are happy to help any of their watery-friends when in trouble... and the creatures will often return the favor in time.
The Pathor on a whole were quite willing to offer their young to the aid of D-corp, hoping to extend their ties and allies even further into the realm of Gaia... The mothers of these eggs, though saddened at the loss, are still hopeful for the future of their offspring.
The dragons may require much looking after, as their species is used to a heavy load of parental care... the bonded will likely have to fill this role, and as such, a dragon like this should only go to the most trustworthy and pure hearted...
Reese, Drez [T]he Charok, are a silent solitary species... they hold no territories, and roam within many places... from wide ocean to the shoreline, they simply burrow into the sand like many of the ray species we know. Their defense is the same as well, a large barb on the end of their tail can spring forward and sting/stab any threats... depending on the size, the damage can be incredibly deadly. The dragons are passive though, choosing flight over fight.
They appear to have both terrestrial and aquatic breathing capabilties, and still have much of their leg left, though shorter than the average dragon. Their breeding habits occur near shore, mating with many of their species, before heading back to deeper waters.
Females lay their eggs in large seabeds, the eggs have long tendrils that attach to the seaweed and hold it in place until it is ready to hatch. The young are born fully developed aside from a single horn, with unknown use. The children who obtain these eggs must find a way to bond with the dragon despite it not really being in its nature to form relationships.
Laesneneil, Mariel [T]he Bethore, are a highly misunderstood species... While referred to as "evil" by other dragons, I have not seen any malicious intent displayed from these strange creatures. They seem very "primal" in nature, acting on instinct, and only paying attention to their basic needs; food, shelter, and reproduction. They do not show much sentience, therefore any child with one should be careful when handling this dragon... however, I have not had any one-on-one experience with this species, therefore its hard to say how they will pair-bond to their child.
Their hunting skills are highly advanced, however... they feed on a range of animals, from small fish (using lures to attract them.) to large bodied mammals such as whales... The species is incredibly fast, armed with deadly sharp claws and teeth... like a mix between an eel and a lantern fish.
The mating habits of these creatures add even more complexities... as it resembles the mating habits of a commonly known fish; the salmon. They move to fresh water, though do not swim very far to get there... instead, they use their primitive legs to waddle to a nearby lake-- the females come first, laying their eggs and leaving... and the males then fertilize and leave them... Eggs are laid in clutches, and though many are eaten for their abundant nutrition, about 25% of the clutch still make it back into the ocean.

[T]he Cruzoor, a bottom dwelling species, it feeds off algae and other sediments. They have no teeth, and merely gum at rocks for their food... leaving them rather friendly species... they've no real natural predators, except for when they're small enough to be edible. Their leathery skin texture gives them apt defense as adults, though.
Mating is short, a brief event for the males... and a tedious one for the females. The female spends a length of time wrapping the egg in living kelp, for camouflage first, and second for the hatching's first meal. Therefore, the kelp must be rich and in a place where it will stay alive...
When the dragon emerges, and has its first meal, it spends a deal of time getting used to its cumbersome body... while theres no parental care involved, the Cruzoor is friendly towards one another, and the baby will soon gain what could only be described as "feeding-friends", buddies that it hangs out with as it eats.
Its suggested for the dragons new partner to share meals with the dragon, to form a strong bond from the start. This dragon thinks with its gut... but at least owners will never have to worry about mildew problems ever again.

[T]he Gramzom, are a communal species, living in large groups of predominantly females, and their male offspring. These creatures, though they may look rather grumpy with thier upturned mouths, and squinted eyes, are a very social and friendly species. They lay 1-3 eggs at a time, and the mothers will help guard each others nesting spots.
They're built for speed, and one of the faster dragons, atleast as far as the ground goes... Their limbs are long, their claws have formed into something equivalent to hooves, and provide excellent traction. Despite this, most days they're very slow... content to move at a turtles pace, and observe nature, and life's "simple" things. They are a very patient and sentient species.
Their diets, unlike many "good" aligned dragons, include a lot of meat. Any type will do, they're usually scavenging it as they don't have any "proper" means of hunting. When they find a carcass, they will eat every last bit of it-- bones and all, with their powerful jaws. Between such meals, they forage for berries and other fruits off of bushes and trees.
Deidre, Emmet [T]he Mephis, are a stocky flightless dragon. They spend their lives wallowing in large bodies of water that can hold them... getting to sizes as big as an SUV, their space can become limited. They can be out of the water without drying for a total of a week, keeping moist with a mucous membrane. They spend their time eating, foraging for worms and other squishy bugs in soft dirt and sediment of lakes and ponds.
Breeding occurs between one female, and a dozen males or so courting her much like a frog might... deep bellowing noises, and chirps, to draw her interest. The males have tusks, though the reason is unknown as I've yet to see them fight...
The females lay a large batch of eggs within the water, only one is fertilized, the rest are presumed "decoys" so that their soft egg sack is not consumed by hungry predators. The young hatches, and begins foraging on its own... gaining more and more weight, it hides from potential predators by a camouflaged coloring on its skin, until it reaches a juvenile stage, where it becomes brightly colored and is presumed to be able to create toxins for protection.
A child will not have much work with this dragon, but must learn to accommodate for its more timid nature and earn its trust before its toxic ability develops.
Natalia, Romeo [T]he Atma, are a strong breed... solitary, they keep large distances between each other by large territories. This also results in a highly territorial behaviors towards others. Not severely harmful, but many threats are exchanged... loud noises and displays until the other backs off. If neither do, as typical in territorial species, a fight will commence. The only time interactions are permitted is for mating season.
The eggs are actually made out of solid rock... leaving the female to spend a large amount of time consuming minerals to create the sturdy shell... in order to hatch, the eggs are laid under a heavy waterfall, secured tightly in place with a strong adhesive made by the males in special glands in the back of their throat. At this point the male and the female separate to their different territories, leaving the egg to hatch on its own. The waterfall breaks apart the shell slowly, until its thin enough that the dragon can break out, leaving its first struggle to swim away from the raging waterfall and out of the river.
From there its on its own, fully capable, and spends its time trying to establish its own territory. With the children, their dragon will likely accept them as "another species in their territory" and learn to tolerate others outside of what they stake as their own territory. But the dragons have shown equal aggression towards humans, giving them the "evil" alignment by most. If all goes well they will defend the child, as a PART of their territory and resources... so long as it suits them... otherwise, they will likely find it in their best interest to stay out of trouble. Its suggested for the child to establish a sense of importance to the dragons wellbeing to avoid aggressive behavior.

[T]he Athest, is a desert dwelling dragon. It feeds strictly on Cacti, getting all of its nutrients and water from the plant. They live in sets of 3s, usually of the same gender. Any more than 3 and the hierarchy sets in, assuring fights to ensue.
Due to their diet, they have incredibly thick skin. It feels waxy to the touch. The Athest can secrete fluid from glands across its skin to cool off if too hot. The secretion is a water-mucous combination, allowing it to cool in the air but not evaporate as quickly.
These dragons lay their eggs in cacti patches, once the mucous membrane is broken these 'quills' on the egg form as both protection and camoflage. The mother will leave the egg, warmed by the sun during the day it will maintain this heat through the cooler desert nights. When it hatches, its first meal is already available. So please make sure there is something to eat after it hatches

[T]he Ashkoort are a strangely built dragon... they're build for burrowing and slipping into deep caves, stuffing themselves between rocks. Their a good defensive dragon, with a sturdy "outer shell" that keeps them safe from whatever harm could possibly wander into a cave.
The egg is a dull dark color, kept in a crevace the mother finds in the back of the cave... usually water collects under it... to keep it warm, the father and mother take shifts incubating... Many times, small colonies of dragons form, and more than one egg is laid within a crevace. To help the parents find her egg, and identify, the mother secretes chemicals in small patterns around the egg, unique to each dragon, that glow a faint green.
The eggs hatch, and while no parental care is truly given, colonies will help one another, usually giving extra support to the hatching.
This dragons partner will be expected to tend to the dragon as it does to it, to form a sort of colony type situation... if the dragon feels betrayed, it will loose all faith in its partner, and serious complications could arise.
