GameTrailers now a days loves to do comparision videos of PS3/360 game titles.

WELL one of there recent ones for Race Driver: Grid was recieved very poorly.

Why?

In an attempt to show cooler crash physics on the 360, they used PS3's footage instead of the 360s footage. And how was this found out? Well they left in the control map for the PS3 verson.

The video has since been taken down from GT.

Mistake? or something more?

It was proven that Gametrailers tends to set the PS3's visual settings a bit low in order to make the 360 version look better, a good example of this was their Assassin's Creed video.

I think they did the same with the Okami Wii/PS2 comparisons. The PS2 version was SO washed out. I never remembered the game being so washed.

Now this is something I haven't heard before! O_o It's incredibly interesting, too. Have they been doing this for all of their videos, or only a select few? Do they only do it to put the PS3 in a bad light, or do they portray the videos in the opposite direction sometimes?

I sort of remember a few comparison videos featured on that site to be different to other sites' renditions of the two versions of specific games... but I never really paid that much attention because the comparison was usually using a game I wasn't planning on buying. ^^; Oops.

People like to think that or that GT is on MS's payroll.

I personally think they do it cause it gives them an excuse to continue the comparison videos.

The first couple they did were neat, but afterwards it was just stupid as they look the same. A lot of people dislike the videos anyways and have been requesting that they stop them and go back to other features they used to do like Versus.

And I think they picked the PS3 only because in populatiry the 360 is higher.

But theres still a lot of stuff on the site that suggests they're doing it cause they dislike the PS3 or again on MS's payroll.

THEY HATE b/c honestly every1 knows that ps3 had better visuals andeverything now except for ignorant people. OMG. i dont evenwant to talk about it b/c ive argued about this more than i should. even MS and nintendo know that ps3 is amazing thats why around 2010 and 2011 we will be seeing new consoles from them while ps4 should be around 2015 or later.

Yeah, GT has been biased from the start. They either set the TVs or the systems. Full RGB(HDMI) should be enabled on the PS3.
