Buddhist book for Pure land sect buddhism.

There's a woman who holds meetings on campus all the time and she gave it to me. I was supposed to read it and return it but I've been very busy. Almost done with it now though.

Purland Buddhism doesn't have much to distinguish it from Christianity really, I prefer Theravada philosophy myself.

i agree, Theravada is closer to the roots.

the chinese influences in Mahayana etc. made Buddhism more of an institutional religion and less of a discipline.
