She shouldn't help but giggle as she ran towards the area she and Raguel had decided to call home. She felt little flutters in her belly and smiled. She wasn't sure if it was the life she knew was growing within or the excitement and anticipation of sharing the news with her mate. She had waited a few days to make sure that she was pregnant and now it was confirmed. Already her belly was beginning to round out, an experience she knew too well, though it had been a very long time. Also, she could feel little movements with in her, when she stilled her body completely. Oh, it was wonderful!
Her only worry was that she and Raguel might be a little too old to do the parent thing again. Reaper was fully grown and they had grandchildren. It was a lot to take in but she certainly felt fit as a fiddle. She didn't feel the least bit old, even with all the years that were stolen from her. With Raguel's return, she was full of life again and youthfulness. She felt young and carefree, even if she might be older than most.
A giggle came over her again. Full of life. That was true in more ways than one. Would she have one again, like Reaper? Or two? or three? Would she.. could she even possibly have a daughter? She dared not hope for fear of disappointment but the idea of turning into a human and fixing up her daughter's mane and tail was so appealing. Still, boys would be equally entertaining. She could imagine Raguel teaching them how to be a proper young stallion.
Tears formed in her eyes as she bolted into the small clearing, "Raguel? Are you here?"

Not too far away from Angel stood Raguel, who was happily munching at the soft grass. Every plant and flower had grown in so pleasantly, and he was chomping away until he heard his name in the distance. Within seconds, he stopped what he was doing and ran towards the direction of the sound. He never strayed too far from Angel, so he knew he would find her in minutes. He had awoken early to find some food before making his way back to where they rested together. But apparently, she was ready to start her day as well! At least the weather was pretty, since rain had covered the land for days. Springtime was a season Raguel had never experienced before, and he rather liked it! New life kept sprouting everywhere, and everything smelled fresh and clean. Summer was apparently the opposite of that.
"Yes yes, I am here!" he then said, when he noticed her figure just a few feet ahead of him. He quickly stopped himself when he was in nuzzling distance, and he cuddled her gently in a morning welcome. "Well hello there, you are full of energy today! What's up?" Raguel knew Angel almost too well, and he could tell that something was on her mind. He was praying that that something was good, since lately there had been so much drama in their life. Now that things were settling down, he was hoping that they too could settle down, and enjoy the changing seasons with a comfortable happiness and peace. "Would you like to go on a walk while we talk? There are so many flowers for you to see!"

She took a moment to nuzzle her mate and take in the scent of him. She had finally grown accustomed to having him back and sometimes, it felt like she had never lost him to begin with. So naturally they had fallen back into their routine of simply loving one another.
"A walk would be nice," she agreed, nipping playfully at his ear. "For I would like to tell you of the babies we will have in the near future. Perhaps we could make the baskets ourselves? I've been studying the two leggers and I think even with the limited time we can transform, we could make our own baskets!" She was rambling on, she knew, but she was so excited. She hadn't even paused to see what his reaction to it would be. Basket weaving did look like a lot of fun!
She closed her eyes and held her face up, letting the warm of the sun kiss it. She felt so good. This was the fourth happiest day of her life. Her first was the day she met Raguel, the second was the day Reaper was born, the third was the day she was reunited with Raguel and now this. It was then that she paused to look at Raguel, hoping his reaction would be equally as positive. He had been through so much though.. she wasn't quite sure how much of him had changed from the torture. Was it possible that he wouldn't want more foals? Especially with what happened with Reaper?

As he took a step ahead to lead them in a walk, he felt his eyes dart to his mate, and he dropped his jaw in complete surprise! "Children, children! That's .. that's amazing!" There was no way she'd be lying, so Raguel just stared at her with shock while lowering his head to Angel's belly. He put his ear to her skin and tried to listen for any kind of movement or sound. Him and Angel were just like the ever changing nature, bringing new life into the world as well! "Do you feel ok, and do you need anything?" he then asked, somewhat frantically. "Will a walk be alright, or would you rather rest?" He nuzzled her stomach before raising his head again, and he shook his head frantically since it was overjoyed with both worries, and joys!
Children, more beautiful children! Raguel couldn't piece the actual idea in his mind, but he knew that soon the reality would be in front of him. Fatherhood.. he was most definitely obsessed with the idea of raising more offspring. "Baskets, that sounds very interesting! We should do that, I bet it would be fun!" Plus, Angel seemed incredibly excited with the idea, so he was happy to support that. It would give them time to figure out their next batch of children, and to decide on how to raise them in the new land they lived in.
His mind suddenly felt a bit weary, since thoughts of Reaper drifted into his head. The anxiety was not what Angel would have guessed, since Raguel was more concerned with the idea of Reaper being jealous, or upset. He had faith in his son, even after everything that had happened. He also had faith in the new line of children, since they were safe and in a new land. "This place will provide us with a safe environment to raise or next children.. I can rest well with that idea. They will be grounded at first, but that's ok, isn't it?" He smiled happily, knowing he could teach them to fly later in their growing experiences.

Angel giggled at Raguel's actions. He was so charming with his worrying. "I ran here, so I'm sure a walk is fine," she teased. "It's still early on so I can go about my normal business. I feel great! I feel better than great." Even when she gained more weight in the time to come and had to take it easy, she knew she would still feel as wonderful as she did now.
She could feel little flutters in her belly as if the life inside knew that their father was nearby. Some believed that the babies could hear and understand what went on around them. If it was true, she certainly believed they knew their daddy was nearby.
She leaned over and nuzzled him, "Thank you! I can't wait to gather the materials needed for the baskets and coloring of them. I want them to be perfect. Oh, it wouldn't do at all if my basket fell apart as soon as the baby was nestled inside to rest." Maybe it wouldn't hurt her to make a practice basket first. Yes, she would definitely make a practice basket.. or five.
"I think it's perfectly fine for them to be grounded. So much in this land can be reached by walking and there's more important things to teach them as it's far more dangerous." She knew that there were threats around every corner and that raising a family would be significantly more difficult down here, but she felt that she and Raguel could get the job done. Look at all the creatures that lived here? They've been doing it for a long time! She knew Raguel would be just as fit for the job, if not more so. Their babies would know how to take care of themselves with a wonderful father at their side. She would teach them about their transformation ability and of course, help her mate smother them with love.

"Alright, well if you need anything at all, let me know." It was just like the last time Angel was pregnant, Raguel was being as crazed as usual. He couldn't help himself, he wanted to her to be as comfortable as possible at all times! "So.. I am a bit new at this basket thing. How exactly do we start about this business?" He looked around the area, wondering what kind of materials went into making baskets. "I'll just follow your lead, since I am clueless about this sort of thing." It was nice to see that Angel was so committed to the idea of basket making, and he could only smile as he took in her energy. She would do a wonderful job at raising children yet again, and he couldn't wait!
"Ah yes, the dangers." he then said, with a hefty grunt. Raguel did not like the idea of his children getting hurt, and he cringed his teeth while making out a hefty plan in his mind. "I'll teach them everything necessary, just like I taught Reaper so many ages ago. They will be strong like us, and with big hearts as well." Raguel knew even Reaper had a heart to share, and that he hadn't given it up just yet. Reaper still carried the fond memories Raguel and Angel had taught him as a child, and Raguel would do the same for these next children. "I wonder, will we have some daughters this time around?" For Angel's sake, Raguel thought that would be nice. She'd probably wondered what a mother/daughter connection was like, since Raguel was always so close with Reaper. "But if we are stuck with all sons again, prepare yourself!" With a grin, he nuzzled his mate while walking forward in search of basket materials.

"Well, we could use some sweetgrass but I think it's too early in the year for that. Willow twigs, wheat grass or pine needles would work well. The longer they are, the easier it will be to weave them. Once we have the materials, I can transform and visit the two-leggers and get some help weaving the first basket. Then I can come back here and weave any others I may need. I'll probably have to borrow the dyes.. I really don't know the plants well enough in these lands to know how to make the vibrant colors they can come up with.. but I think it would be special if we got the materials for the basket itself." She knew that the two-leggers would help her with the dyes, and any dream catchers or decorations. She did want to make the baskets herself with Raguel helping collect them. Perhaps she could show Raguel how to make a basket so he could make the second? The idea was very cute.
"I would love us to have a daughter," Angel stated honestly, "but I would be happy with sons as well. If we do not get a daughter this time, there's always the future. What could be better than giving her more big brothers to protect her?" Of course, there was always the chance that she'd never have a daughter but she believed that some day, she would. It was just a matter of time. If she were to have boys, then she would believe there was a reason for it. Life had a way of working out for the best. Besides, they made fine sons, didn't they? Reaper was beautiful then and he is beautiful still, even with the burden of his punishment.
She returned his affection and paused only briefly to smile back up at the sun. She really would love sons as much as daughters and she was anxious to find out what they would be! After the pause, she started walking after her mate, and began to look around for any of the plants or grass that could be used for the baskets.

He smiled at his mate as she spoke about the idea of a daughter. He knew it was probably hard for her to think about, since she was always so positive about everything. Angel loved life, and her ability to create life was something she specialized in. Whether it be sons or daughters, he knew she would be thankful no matter what. But still, as her love, he truly wished for a daughter to come in the future! He knew that watching a mother-daughter interaction would be a beautiful sight to see. "Well, nature is always a surprise, so I suppose we shall wait and see. But until then, we have a big task on our hands, so let's get to work!" he grinned cheerfully before moving his head to the busy ground below him. It would be better to stray away from that subject matter anyhow, since he didn't want Angel to feel any unneeded stress.
Ok, so he was on a hunt for any long, sturdy grass-like things. He nosed at anything that appeared in front of him, and it felt like forever until something grabbed his interest. Plants continued to spring up in all directions, and finally he stopped at a plant that looked much stronger then the rest. He had no idea what it was, but it grew at the ends of trees, and he noticed many more all around him. When he felt the structure with his nose, he realized he may have found something good! "Hey, what about this!" he then yelled, since he wasn't sure where Angel was looking at that point. One side of the plant was hard like a shell, while the inside part was softer and gentler. The actual plant felt strong and sturdy, so he hoped something like that could work. "Do you think this is what they use?" he then said, while glancing back at Angel.
Now he was starting to understand the use for baskets, and it made him way more excited about the concept! "Yes, we will have to learn from the two leggars about dyes.. But this may be a start, so I am thankful for that." Since.. they were still new at this ordeal, and basically new to the whole process that the land dwellers used. "I'm not very artistic, so I may rely on the two leggers help for coloring." he then admitted, since he did not want Angel to have to see an ugly basket. "Shall we collect some of this for now as well?"
For some reason, Raguel felt sort of childish, since he was learning something so different from what he was used to. He knew that Angel would be supportive, and that kept him positive along the way!
