Kialio's thoughts were wandering as they usually did, but the past few days they always seemed to settle on the lightning marked female he had encountered. Radi was on his mind all the time, haunting his thoughts and even his dreams. He longed to meet her again, and he had no idea that his longing would soon be realized.
He was walking through the sun-filled savanah, his large paws flattening the grass beneath him as he moved silently. He had grown in those few days, and his large frame was easy to spot in the dull grass. He sighed heavily as he watched a few clouds float by slowly through the clear sky.
He came upon a clear pool of water, and there he watched the clouds yet again, their mirror image entrancing him. His bright orange eyes watched the rippling water and he sighed heavily again. He flopped to the ground, sending the petals of a flower soaring through the wind, dancing and twirling happily. Lio wished he could fly and dance away with Radi, but he didn't even know if he would ever see the beautiful lioness again.

It was then that the scent caught her nose upon the breeze. The scent of flowers mixed with that strong musk of a male, and not just any male. Kialio. She smiled and stood her pale, watery green eyes smiling as she slipped from her shaded den and padded towards the pool.
She beamed, she had not expected to see him again, the pridel;ands was a strange p[lace people came, left, explored and vanished, it was such a large place to live in and held so many lions to it's brest.
It seemed though that the pridelands was feeling kind for it had braught the big blue male to her door almost. Padding through the grass, not bothering to hide herself the lightning marked female padded in to the clearing of the watering hole with a sigh. "Hello again." She whispers, her voice a whisper upon the wind, ehr soft green eyes dancing happily, so glad was she to see the now fluffy maned male.

Kialio had been lost in his own thoughts, but when he heard the whispered words, he blinked a few times as a half-grin formed on his face. He turned his head, looking over at the female he had grown to think about every night. "Well hello. We meet again." He said with a smile, wanting so badly to nuzzle her. He resisted though, bowing his head low and respectfully.
The young male had grown to adulthood since their last meeting, though the only thing that had changed was his now full-grown mane. He sat down, his tail twitching slowly behind him. His smile never left his maw as he spoke, "I must say, it's quite a pleasure to see you again. I was starting to doubt that we would cross paths again. Though I must admit, you have haunted my thoughts since our last meeting." He said, his smile becoming a slightly bashful one. He didn't know why, but he felt the need to express to her how she never left his thoughts, not for an instant.

Radi smiled, her own cheeks alighting in a flush as he mentioned thinking of her, it was hard to hide a blush on her pale face, so she didn't bother to try. "Oh i'm always around." she whispers quietly her vocie always barely above a faint breeze, she had always been shy and even now, even though she knew she felt something for kialio, she couldn't bring herself to not feel bashful around him.
Still she managed a giggle as she walked over to him, that gentle feeling of tension breaking all on it's own a she greeted him with a cheek brush. "I see you've come in to your mane." she puurres taking a long moment to look him over though she quickly looked away afraid she was stareing, which she knew she was, which only caused her cheeks to burn even redder.

Lio smiled brightly, puffing his chest out slightly at the comment about his mane. He was glad he had grown int it, it was lush and fresh and he enjoyed it immensely. He had never been vain, but he felt a slight amount of pride at how nice it had come out. "Oh yes, I suppose I have." He said with a smile, his own cheeks growing more red when she brushed his cheek. He gladly returned the greeting, pulling away regretfully. He loved having her near him, and he knew he felt something for her.
"What have you been up to?" He asked, unsure what else to say to the lovely lioness he still barely knew. He wanted to know everything about her, but he dared not pry too much, not wanting to be rude.

Radi chuckled gently, she felt bashful around the young male but at the same time she wanted greatly to get to know him better. he was so kind and gentle, so careign and softly spoken, and she couldn't help but admire his handsome exterior. His dashing blue coat and deep dark eyes.
"Not much I'm afraid, the life of a single mother is sort of limited." She sighed wistfully. "Lukily my mother takes him occasionally, it gives me a little break." She looked up at him with watery green eyes then and put a paw over her lips. "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you about ghilt, he's my son, growing up like a little weed." She giggled in a soft tinkly manner. "It won't be long til he's growing his own mane like you." She smiles, she was proud ofher only child but she did wish he had a father figure, she also longed for the companionship of an adult in ehr life that wasn't family, someone she could speak to and listen to and simply curl up next to on a cool night.
She shook her head, day dreams were wonderful, she could even imagine kialio at her side, but would he want to be a father to someone elses child? She didn't want to ask him, even if she did want to get to know him more, she liked the charming male very much.

Lio had a soft spot for cubs, but the thought of someone else being with Radi made his heart ache with jealously. He wanted badly for a family of his own, although the fact that she had a son already didn't bother him very much.
"Really? I'd be happy to meet him, I love cubs." He said with an honest smile. He wanted badly to know of what had happened to the child's father, though he was anxious to ask.
"I've longed for a family of my own for quite some time." He said with a dreamy look in his eyes. "If I may be so brass, what happened to Ghilt's father...?"

The fur on the back of Radi's neck lifted without her meaning for it to do so. "I told you before, I left for a while." She paused fro a moment her soft green gaze looking distant and cloudy, she took a breath and shook ehr head. "I was trapped in a land of sand and heat and he prmised he'd get me out...He didn'..he just, left me there, left me with Ghilt growing insie of me. i had to escape, i eventually found my way back home and ghilt was born here. He knows nothing of his father, I don't think he even knows what a father is." She laughs a little, wonderign if she had ever told Ghilt that he should maybe have a male figure in his life.
She moved closer to Lio and brushed her head under his chin her face vanishing in to his blue mane. "I'm sorry, you didn't really need to know all of that, did you?" She whispers, finding herself unable, or unwilling to pull away from him now she was there. "I would love for you to meet Ghilt though, he's the light of my life, he's the one that got me out of that place really, without him, I wouldn't have had the will."

Kialio felt his heart ache for her, and he felt a wave of anger that some horrible lion had done this to her. When she placed herself against him his feelings of anger and jealousy vanished. He set his chin on her head, wrapping his tail around hers and his paw circled around her. He held her close, his eyes closing.
"Radi." He said softly, barely a whisper. "I would love to meet Ghilt. And if you want, I... I could be a father figure for him. If you'd like me to, that is. I seem to be falling for you, Radi." His eyes opened and he felt his heart beat quicken, afraid and excited about what she would say.

The pale female stayed where she was, comfortable, and safe against his thick mane. "I would like that." She whispers her pale, watery green eyes lifting to look at the large, deep blue male whom her own heart was starting to beat rather rapidly for.
She had never been in love, Ghilt had been deception, though she could not possibly love him any less for that. He was the light of her life.
Smiling she let a little giggle roll over her lips as she turned ehr nose to nuzzle deep in to his fluffy mane. "I don't think I'v ever felt closer to anyone Lio. I would love you to be a part of my life, be my family, be ghilts father. I..i don't want to be away from you again. You make things so much brighter. I think, I think I love you Lio is that okay?"

Lio pulled her closer, if that was even possible. He felt as though he could never be close enough to her. He closed his eyes, smiling softly. He had never felt so strongly about anyone before, ever.
As she spoke, his eyes slowly opened and he looked down at her with a bit of surprise, but it was happy surprise. "Of course that's okay Radi, I love you as well. So very much." He nuzzled against her again, feeling as though his heart would burst. He had never imagined he would fall in love so deeply so fast.

Radi puurred softly her watery green eyes staying closed, this was what she eneded, what she wanted, for Lio to be with her always, for someone to care, to love her to make sure nothing bad ever happened again. She could tell Lio was the one.
Pulling away slightly she smiled up att the large, pink eyes male and flickered her tail. "Come, I should be getting back to him. He starts to wonder wheer i am if I'm gone for too long." She laughs softly, her little son was so protective of ehr, she wans't sure how he would take Lio, but this was something she needed, he would understand, she was sure of it.
She slowly unattached herself from him a smile on ehr face as she took a step back the way she came, though she waited, seh wanted him beside her. She never wanted him to be away again.

Lio watched her as she pulled away, and he immediately wanted her beside him again. He stood and nodded, a little nervous about meeting her son. He hoped he wouldn't resent Lio in any way, though he would try his best to get along with him. The blue lion had a way with cubs most of the time, he still thought like a cub in some ways.
He walked beside her and leaned just enough against her side so that he could feel that she was there. He wanted to make sure it was all real, and her warm form made it so.
