Groups of kids are contained in a government building and experimented on, giving them abilities and infusing them with their spirit animal. Eventually, they lead a revolt, which ends in failure. But the others are inspired, leading to a mass murder. Only a handful are left, and they are quiet, until the day they can rise again...

Izabella could hear Zach humming, though it was soft to most people, it sounded like he was yelling to her. She continued staring up at the sky though, looking at the perfectly blended clouds.
