I've just recived a brown gift box from...gaia and I was wondering if it is better to just sell such things unopened or to open them up and see what's inside. it's selling for 4k-something right now. just so you know.

Rarely does a brown gift box have anything of worth inside. I usually sell those.

Everytime i've opened one, i've always been dissappointed with what i've gotten.
I'd sell it.

I open them just for the thrill of doing it. But if you want to get some extra gold then sell it.

You're much better off selling the box to save up for something you really want instead of taking your chances opening it, probably to reveal something disappointing. Personally, I'm a very unlucky person, so I've never gotten any of the rare items in any of the boxes I've ever opened... this includes all trunks, magical boxes, and cash shop chance items. It just never seems worth it to actually open any of them. gonk
My final advice is, for any of the chance boxes that exist on gaia, only open them when you feel that it's worth it to take a risk because you're sooo curious that you couldn't live knowing you might have actually gotten something good. >.>

artichokecoolness brown gift boxes? where do u get these? what are they? They are rare items that randomly appear while roaming on the forums on Gaia. I never get any of them lol. As for the topic creator: I'd just open it. It's not really worth selling, but it's up to you. I like to take a chance.

I'd say sell it closed. I like seeing what's in the box, but I never get anything good, so you might want to take what you can get on the box itself.
